I enquired on this and they told me that they had uploaded the price incorrectly and forgot to include Vat. They could do me a green one without the comfort pack though for a similar price. Thanks for the vid anyway!
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Worth highlighting for folk in the business vid the significant improvement in BIK rates for the latest plug in hybrids. E.g new Skoda Superb, Golf GTE 8.5, Merc C. Big difference to previous gen. (Hopefully the new government doesn't notice!) Now a viable alternative to full electric for those without home chargers.
Even if you don’t like EVs that’s a cracking deal and can’t see why anyone wouldn’t jump at that. To write off the deposit that’s only around £25 a month over 36 months!
They are certainly looking better. Almost tempted now. One to ponder. Can you do deliveries in lease cars or does it depend on the deal and indeed insurance?
The better the dela the quicker it goes. You'll sometimes find that the broker temporarily switches the deal off as they have too many enquiries too - they then switch back on once they've got through all their leads. Try again later
I've been looking at this car. I can buy the pre-facelift ID3 model 1 year old for less than £20,000 and own it, which feels better than paying nearly £8,000 for a 2 year lease? The big question here is future depreciation. Will the price level out with age or nose dive?
Ordered myself last week at £7k for the 2 year lease. I would expect it to depreciate much more if buying outright based on 2 year old ID3's. Keep your £20k in a high interest account for 2 years instead and that should cover some of the cost anyway.
You can get a 3 year old one for £12k so the depreciation speaks for itself really. I’d lease a new one or buy a 3-4 year old one if the total cost is your main consideration
167,000 EVs new sold this year (to end of June) and over 1.1 million on the roads in the UK, so again, in answer to your question (if it was one), yes, they’re selling in huge volumes.

I like the idea of separate videos for ICE and EV vehicles.
Good!
Totally agree with the split Jim 👍🏻
Cheers Tony

Which broker was that? I'll report it to LeaseLoco - sounds like they might be spinning some BS to me
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Lease Cars 4 Less
I'll report it. I'm sure that's the story but if they try that story again on a different deal (or have before), I'm sure they would be in hot water
Always nice to see the odd commercial van deal
👍👍
The new format sounds great to me Jim. Thanks!
Thanks Ken
Although I’m here for the EV deals I’ll still watch both videos! Never seem to be any deals on the post 2020 Land Rover Defenders though…………
There don’t unfortunately
👍👍👍. Thank you Jim
Very welcome
Great idea on the business specific video Jim! Nice one!
Thank you

Insurance for deliveries will be expensive I'm guessing. I would assume no restrictions on the lease but you'd have to check with the broker.

Business deals looks like a great idea great for all the one man bands that don't have time to search for themselves thanks mate
👍👍
I’d have gone for this .
🥲
Now *that* is a good deal....
It is eh?!
How quickly do the deals go? I'm looking 16hrs after the videos been posted and it's no longer there

@@DefinitelyNotAGuru thanks for replying. We're on the hunt for a good electric SUV by end of August so watching your vids intently!

Reckon this is the Pro Essential trim (its not very clear on leaseloco)? With the steel wheels
You'd have to ask the broker

Ev deals videos please twice a week
Might be overkill maybe but if special deals come out often enough you never know

GOLD!
EV's not selling are they ?
Roll on new Prelude!
Plenty actually, up over 9% this year and selling almost 3 times cars more than diesels if you actually wanted to know.
Prelude looks great 👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Diesels died some 2 years ago imo
