You are appreciated!!...Boiling an Egg: Put the eggs into the H2O and set it on the range to bring to a boil. When you achieve a hard boil, let it boil for 1 minute and then turn the burner off and place the lid on the pan. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes and then, after a full 10 minutes, remove and put into ice water. Perfect hard boiled egg...LOL...at least that is the way I like them. If you cut your egg in half and you see a thin greenish line around the yolk, it has been cooked too long.

Re the egg. Depends on the altitude.... water boils at a lower temp as altitude increases. Since it it is not possible to heat it over 100 c it'll take longer at altitude.

Digging up old quizzes, and I managed a 91/100 on this one. Nice selection of questions. I particularly like the ones that I know before the choices are given.
BTW, I'm not a dog, cat, or bird person.... I prefer my pets cold-blooded, reptiles and amphibians. Mostly, I'd prefer snakes, but, I've never named one Elvis.... 😂

Q3 depends on the egg size. A medium (average egg size) is well hard at 7 minutes.

I got 61 good answers. I come from Netherlands so some answers are different like in the Netherlands a bear claw or as we call it a berenklauw is a croquet a crispy snack with all kinds of meat stuffed in really delicious 🤤

Actually (or technically) the record speed was 33 1/3. I don't know
about now but look at any vintage record player it is labeled 33 1/3 and not just 33. As teen (I'm 71) I'd save my money to buy a "thirty three and a third LP"

You are right. However my old record player was marked as 33. Maybe there wasn't room for the 1/3?
Plz,don't be so fussy. The inscribed speeds were 78, 45, 33 . There was a 16, as well.
There was no way that " 33 and 1/3 " could be engraved onto a small dial..
@@lindafromcalifornia1155 True, but I think my last turntable ran at 34 or so. On some songs I noticed it and others I didn't. Made all my music sound a bit flat if I was trying to play along. But it balanced out, because the built-in cassette tape player was low, so... That's why I was a very early adopter of CDs.
While you are technically correct about what the speed values are, the control would usuallly be marked as just 33 without the fraction, so it is a matter of how you interpret the question. However, there was another problem with that question. The text read, "What speeds to record players normally have?" Note that it says "to" instead of "do." It sounded like the narrator said "do," but the text version was incorrect.

If you boil an egg on low flame till it gets hard boil then it'll take 10-12 min but on high flame it only takes 4-6 min

Hard boiling an egg depends on altitude, if you were in nepal it can take about 20 minutes, whereas close to sea level it can take about 7 minutes
It also depends on if the egg was refrigerated or not.
It also depends on the method used. What is generally considered the proper method is to have the eggs in room temperature water, raise the water to a boil, then cover and remove from the heat for the appropriate time depending on how you want the yolks to come out. I have, however, seen people who keep a flame under the eggs and some who place the eggs in after the water is heated. These variations will change the cooking time (and may result in cracked shells).
We don't refrigerate our eggs in the UK there's no need to, and you’re right @eclecticeplorer7828, I boil the water first, though I recognise it's not generally considered the best method

Ok so a few things. As a Floridian I've never heard a florida cracker be the name for a sheep. It's usually reserved for a Floridian as in person. 😂 2. Definitely a dog person. And 3. The C in E=MC2 actually stands for the constant velocity of the speed of light. Just to be technical. Loved this quiz! ❤❤❤❤
Agreed. A Florida cracker is a person. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sheep in Florida. The original crackers were associated with cattle.
if you think it takes 10--12 minutes your wasting energy. put a lid on the saucepan for 4--7 minutes! great quiz by the way, i like the fact you read them out. i can get on with stuff while playing
