Really appreciate your efforts to keep your channel sponsorless. You're my most trusted review source because of that. And also super underrated how you provide actual useful things to sell rather than just shirts. I don't want to knock on those that sell clothing merch but we have so much fast fashion and it's really polluting the world so I appreciate being able to support creators in other ways.
THIIIS! :-D
12 years and not one sponsor...Caleb, you're a legend! Inspirational.
I like the protection and the cable locking portion of this, great idea Caleb. Make a DJI version please!!
I absolutely love that you found a solution using 3D printing. This type of thinking is the future.
Thank you Caleb! Giving away the files is very generous of you. Going to have my son print a couple for me ASAP. I've learned so much from this channel!
This makes a big difference. Keep more stuff like this coming!
Love all that you create man! Genuinely one of my favorite channels and I can’t wait to see the awesome things you come up with in the future!
Amazing! I really love these DIY stuff to 3d print! Last month I made the sm58 enclosure you designed and it became my daily go to for videochat/stream/recording! Hope to see other stuff in the future!
this looks awesome! id love to see more like it!
Nice job on the design! The knurling on the cap is a great touch. Using something like Shapeways, you could probably sell a metal version as well in the future (super high end) and set up a shop so you could directly ship to people from Shapeways (I think). If you decide to do anything electronic focused, I'd love to help out!
Caleb, this is why we love you man. Always showing us, practical, useful gadgets and tools. I'm buying.
Just printing this myself now and already created the previous mic one. Keep them coming, loving them!
This is incredible, man! Thank you for putting it out there.
Great idea to improve an already fantastic product. Nice to see it is also compatible with the original Wireless GO (not mentioned in the video).
THIS IS SICK. I love this stuff Caleb.
You are so generous with the options of downloading it ourselves or even buying them directly!! More power to Caleb!!! we love you!!
Fantastic use of 3D printing!!!
Very cool. Well done. Beyond cool that you're giving away the design.
Well done Caleb, great design !
Great work, Caleb! Totally buying these!
Genius! I love it. Ordering now! Thanks, Caleb!
Nice. Would love to see some different use cases. Perhaps a half cage too so the wind muff could be used?? Maybe a 1/4 20 version for the receiver? Fantastic channel.
1/4 20 would be perfect! Especially to mount on a run-and-gun rig.
Thank you Phil! All great ideas man.
Thanks Caleb! You are amazing!
This is super cool. Amazing design!
Absolutely genius idea! Thank you very much!
super well designed! Good stuff.
So good!! 🙌🔥 going to ask my brother to print some for me. I like these mics since they are small and lightweight. Now you fixed the biggest issue/concern I had with using a wired lav with the transmitter.
"is this thing revolutionary? absolutely not. " that line at the very and made me buy this... thank you Caleb!
Awesome piece of gear. I ordered 2 of them. Locking cables and a little extra protection as well. Thank you so much for making this and making content on your amazing channel. Two Thumbs up👍👍
Another smart 3D print design!
This is one of the things I love the most about 3D printing. You have a device that needs just a little bit more functionality that you paid enough money that it's not easily replaceable but needs like too good features.
This is a brilliant idea I'm not in this ecosystem with the road wireless go but I love these kind of projects thank you for all your great videos
Well done Caleb. I've also designed and printed parts for power tools that I use, where excellent manufacturers leave niggling problems for us to deal with. I don't have this mic (although I have several other Rode mics). Just wanted to commend you on what looks like a great solution. And yes, your sponsor free channel really does stand out amongst the crowd.
Awesome Caleb! I’ve dreamed it, you did it!
Amazing idea, thanks for sharing with the world!
Love this! I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
To add to the closing segments - I'm a professional freelancer videographer and have plenty of experience shooting with my prior Sony A7iii & A6400 (now an A7IV and A7SIII) and one could argue that I wouldn't have much to gain from the DSLR Video Shooter A7IV guide that I bought 2 weeks ago...
I wish I'd done this the second I bought my first cameras, not only did it show me all sorts of things I never knew existed (and are never mentioned in ANY reviews!) but there are all sorts of clever button/dial suggestions that are classic Caleb genius approaches but above all, I love that I now expose my footage using the stellar and super simple false colour LUT. In post I just whack the beautiful Corrective LUT (from a huge custom array depending on how much you exposed or over-exposed) that I find has worked better than my Leeming LUT workflow before.
Let's be honest, we all think we know our cameras but have we ever religiously dedicated a solid week to testing *every single* menu option and created near-scientific comparisons like Caleb has? Nope and thankfully his findings are concise, friendly to all levels and let you know you're now definitely getting the most out of your camera.
Do it, enjoy the extended content on your camera, the banging LUTs, and help support this channel that's helped us all!
You just made the Wireless Go II a whole lot more interesting! Never thought about doing a 3D Print cage!
That's awesome Caleb!
The level of your videos now are .. simply incredible!
Love this one! Excellent functional 3D Print! 👏😎
What a great addition to the wireless GO!
Brilliant design
It's so cool that your designing gear merch. Great idea 👍👍
I just sent this to a friend who has a recording session soon and he told me that this was exactly what he needed for!
Thank you so much!
It absolutely is revolutionary for the go.
this is actually brilliant!
Yes, More stuff like this, 3d printed camera solutions
Great job Caleb! WIll print one for my set ASAP. 👍
Phenomenal job! I will print a couple of these whenever I get another printer.
So cool. Man, you really do such good work. Much love to you, and hope you keep it up!
Very nice, smallrig and others taking notes.
Really really good!!! Perfect for Amazon!
Awesome idea! I'll have to modify the design as I have a couple of different brands of wireless mics but a very solid concept to overcome some design flaws from manufacturers.
This could be useful for other devices such as cellphone cases and tiny computers too.
simply brilliant !
This is just awesome! Thank you very much ✨
Sweet design
Thanks man, that's going to be really useful. 👍
Dude…. Such an industrialist. Love it 💪
Ha! Thanks bro!
This is awesome. Great job man…
Genius. Thank you!
This is incredible. Thank you Caleb! This has been my biggest complaint about the Wireless GO's.
Caleb you are the man! Thanks for this
Thanks for watching Josue!
cool design!
Fantastic idea Caleb!. One thing though, please make one for DJI mic, i´m done with the RØDE, The DJI mic is waaaaaay better, and no hassle with a stupid app to transfer files, that only work sometimes ! :-)
So great! Waiting for the same thing on DJI Mic.
I needed this thank you 😄😄😄😄😄
Caleb is the hero we need, but not the one we deserve
My favorite flimmaking related channel. Keep it up sir ! ❤️
You're such a pro!
Love the look of this DIY! I would love to see you build a handheld microphone for the Rode Go II. I’ve seen Rodes version but I’m not a fan of its design
This is like, the perfect sort of invention I could have asked for! Looking forward to more little 3D-printed widgets that solve a real problem that persists because no commercial company thinks they could make money on it.
You're the man!!!!! I wonder what Peter Mckinnon will be releasing relative to this kind of creative episode...
Well done!
Wow that is cool, very good.
This is brilliant
This is awesome!
good stuff man!
Awesome! Thanks!
Nice product.
Love This!!!
This is great. I am always sending ideas to Smallrig and Ulanzi. I wish I had the resources to build some of the ideas I have. I came out with an idea that I think loads of film makers would love.
what a beauty !!
Awesome project! Printed it and it works like a charm. Please note that the Rode Smartlav+ does NOT work as it has a TRRS connector and needs the Rode TRRS to TRS Adapter which comes in angled at 90°. Luckily, you can still use the 90° TRS TRRS adapter with the Smartlav + as it barely clears the threaded part of the Go LOCK case.
Maybe also design for DJI Mic as well? That would be awesome!
Yes please a DJI version
I was thinking about something like this to give it a different mount. If I modify for personal needs, I'll definitely share it back to you.
Won't need it personally, but man that is a really smart design. Can't wait for what you have on pipeline next 💥
amazing bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yess! The main thing that irked me about the wireless go ii is that the mic doesn't lock. Don't get why they did not add that feature. Wish we could still use the wind muffs with the case, but with how easy it is to remove and place inside the case it should be no hassle 💚 Thank you
Nice job
Thank you!!! 💜
Many thanks. Now, I have to write a few words. Great idea. Superbly realised. Congratulations. Why on earth didn't Rode think of it themselves? Really great. I would present this to Rode.
If I could order this at a realistic fair price here in Germany, I would have ordered two of them. More than one thumb up. Keep up the fantastic work.

Rad idea!
Now we need one for the DJI mic
IDEA: i would like to have like a bracket or something that threads on the bottom of a 5” monitor or bigger that has a mounting on the sides to mount a video transmitter with monitors that don’t have a space for it.
Example: I use Atomos products and Hollyland transmitters, I would love to mount my Mars 4K on the back of my ninja (SSD side) in a non-obstructive way and have the receiver on my shinobi, there isn’t a easy compact way to mount video transmitters to make a small compact directors monitor without a lot more accessories and making the rig bulky.
Other than that, this video was awesome Caleb, as always, value and quality work from you man 💪🏻
Great design. I have the DJI Mics now so can't buy but excellent idea and very useful. 👍
Excellent idea. Looks great. Unfortunately I'll have to wait till Im back at work to afford it. Nice work
Damn‼️😯…that is SOOOOO LEGIT ‼️‼️👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
What a great creative idea!! Being able to lock the mic should be standard on every wireless system, but unfortunately it's not. Well done!!
id love a video on your background especially the white camera and tripod we sometimes see
It's upseting how good you are to find practical gear
