Stephen, you should get expansions for Settlers of Catan. They really make the game even better, sometimes longer. In my opinion Cities & Knights is the best one, it adds a whole new mechanic and changes some things a little.

Also, my parents are very strict to the rules, so when Emile built and then traded 4 for 1 for resources (all trading before building), they would have said NOPE NOPE NOPE, but everyone plays a little differently. Anyways, fun game to watch :D
