I’ve followed this sport for quite some time. We can talk about the greatness of Mireya Luis, Ekaterina Gamova or Sokolova, but in my humble opinion, Boskovic is a phenomenon we haven’t seen in volleyball, ever!
There were a lot of great players before too particularly from the Russian and Cuban squad like Artamonova, Bell, Luis, Gamova, sokolova, Carvajal and Torres but I agree, boskovic is on a league of her own in this generation of volleyball players
And to make it more point is she has been started amazingly since she was freaking 17 years old, since debut on national team, she never failed even once, top score on the team when she was 18 got silver olympic bcz of that, and got 3 MVPs on biggest turnaments at following years when she was 21 years old. Then she prove it again with this word champs at 25. Like wow, i never hear any player as sucsessfull as her in such young age. Hope she always healthy and so we can such witness of this phenomenal player in the future
Yea people talk about Vargas being better than her but Boskovic is miles ahead of everyone in her generation. Sure Vargas and egonu can give Boskovic a run for money but Boskovic has an edge.
Ever since she started to play for our national team, it was very clear that she will be something else and very special ✨ Fast foward to October 2022- now for years she makes us happy, along with our other beautiful girls in national team. She became a true leader of this generation and led to the gold again and won second MVP title in a row. Not to mention 2 time MVP of the EuroVolley and also two golds, 2 time Olympic medalists! And all that at the AGE OF 25! Tića is born to be the queen of volleyball 👸🏻 and all we can do is be thankful that we are present in this era and watching all this magic that she creates! Any ball out of system for Egonu will rarely result in an instant point, but MB can set from 6m to the other side of a court with 3 blockers waiting and Boskovic will still score

Boskovic, the lady champion in volleyballworld. Beautiful, smart, and powerful woman. No regrets watching all her games. She'll give you the best, a 100% satisfaction.
Tijana is extraordinary player, in comparison with other diagonals, also former ones. Why? She is technically perfect, advantage - a quick, left hand. She has an excellent space orientation -this is an unique feature. Plus feeling of the blocks. (Luckily for her, the setter was also superb) . She is very usefull also in a field defence. Morally very strong. She does not complain. Focused first of all on the sport. Humble. On other hand has some disadvantage as far as a world media - no personal scandals, no extravagant, comes from a small country.
From the time I saw Boskovic playing in the World Cup way back when you’re still 18 I know you’ll achieve many things. From your ballistic like spike, shes a league on her own. That innate talent and hardwork and being so humble. Im so proud being a fan of yours. Many achievement more to come. You’ll be the greatest player volleyball has ever seen.

In team sports, not a single individual can be exceptional, the best in the world... without the other members of that team being at least good. No matter how good Tijana is, she would not be able to show it on the field, first of all, without a very good technician, and he cannot do it without good receivers. I think the third set against Brazil was one of the best sets in women's volleyball that I have seen in my life. The whole team played fantastically!

Pero, gracias a dios cambio su técnica de ataque, ahora ya no ataca desde angulos muy locos por qué últimamente la bloquean mucho en Turquía debido a esa técnica que utilizaba, ahora ataca solo por encima del bloqueo y es así como ha perfeccionado su remate, mejoro su servicio, su liderazgo, ya no la veo gritar al hacer un punto, cómo que psicológicamente está tranquila y en paz
Boskovic the GOAT, one thing i realize she doesnt do a lot in cross court spikes now its always down the line unlike in 2018 world championship. i hope she doesnt injured her arm.
I noticed it as well. I guess it’s easier for her to score if she doesn’t do cross court spikes bc there’s a tendency it’ll go out & sometimes the referees do not see it well whether it’s in or out.
She's been doing that because Brazilians were implementing "absolute defence" strategy where blockers go for cross shots and on paraller shot is libero (you can see it in slow motion in videos there, just pay attention to blockers and libero's positioning). So she was literally avoiding blockers and doing more parallel shots.
Just 25 and already 2 Olympic medals (SIlver and Bronze), 2 World Championship Gold medals, 2 European Championship Gold medals, 2 World Championship MVP awards, 2 European Championship MVP awards, Club World Championship title and Club World Championship MVP award.
