I have such fond memories of Lalo. I had the pleasure of performing at the same show/stage back in the days that my friend Dr. Daniel Castro aka "Sancho" would have his shows at the Pasadena City College auditorium before moving to the more prestigious Pasadena Civic auditorium. We "Ruben and the Jets" were invited to have breakfast with him and jam at the old Montebello Inn club the following Sunday. He was magical with his story telling and songs. Miss him so much.
