Hey Andrea how did you make the content scrollable? I'm trying to make a container scrollable vertically then customize the scrollbar. But I'm confused with making the content/container scrollable to start.
@@strawhatsanji4985 The top of the box with the class of "card" shows how to make it scrollable. You set the height in her case she set this to 40vh, then set the overflow-y to scroll this is the vertical, and overflow-x to hide which would be horizontal, then she added a border radius and and color. But the height and the overflow-y are what it takes for it to be scrollable :)
@@andreaegli All good thank you. Same stuff, trying to make ends meet by building products. I got into backend and built my first DB driven website PHP/MySQL. It's a big milestone for me. You should check it out when you get back on Twitter. I got back on the bird app too. But just chillin' no more audience building. Glad to be talking to you
Hey, Branded (I assume this is not your name 😅) thank you so much for your kind words! hehe, let's hope so!!! you are welcome and expect even more awesome content coming your way this year. Anything specific you would be interested in seeing?
@@andreaegli haha my name's Alex 😆 just on youtube to learn stuff so my profile's not optimized at all 🤣 glad to have stumbled upon your channel! looking forward to learning more from you x take care!
You can't style the native scrollbar on mobile, and I doubt you ever will be able to, sorry. All phones and OS use different browsers and each one will have its own implementation of the scroll bar. A lot have taken iOS's fading scrollbar approach too, which means there isn't much point styling it anyway
Have you ever styled scrollbars before and if not, are you going to from now on?

Custom scrollbars are no longer supported by iOS14 upwards. No idea about Android.
