Cruel traps are widely used in the rural mountain areas of India. Wild pigs are often the intended victim but many other species get caught. This fox was caught in a wire trap and had been stuck for so long, her paw had fallen off.

Omg.. not only scared. This poor fox was badly injured. I SMH for this is extremely cruel and very unnecessary suffering. Thank goodness you found the fox. Kudos to the crews/ teams/ orgs that go out and risk lives for our animals. And those who rescue and save lives as well. ❣️
Thank you for helping that fox. She probably chewed off her own foot in an attempt to get out of the wire snare. Poor thing, but she was rescued, treated, and released. I pray she does well.
