All of this TSA garbage are test cases. Once they get away with this, they will escalate their tyranny. My God, I don't see a soul forming massive protests over this unconstitutional garbage. Until the people stand against this tyranny, it will get worse!.
This is absolutely disgusting that this can continue. The mom should receive heavy compensation from the TSA and everyone from TSA who was involved should be fired and if possible, charged with abuse of power and knowingly failing to follow federal guidelines.

I have to say, that Europe and Canada and Australia and New Zealand all select Airport Staff, from the higher end of the gene pool. For some reason, America seems to go out of its way, to employ the worst. The Application Form must read, tick yes if you have a "chip" on your shoulder. Well done, you ticked Yes. You will fit in nicely. On a serious note. All this is endemic, and it comes from the Top. That is where you should start.

This was obvious that they did it out of spite for their past encounter with her as they mentioned that they have been waiting for her since last time. One time I had a TSA agent thoroughly inspect a can of peanuts in a backpack I carried onto the plane. I thought that was a little odd. Got back to my hotel room to realize that they overlooked A KNIFE that was still in my backpack. Not a tiny pocket knife either. Glad to see they are doing the job right, those peanuts can be deadly 😂

I had about 3 lighters in my purse when I went through TSA for all of my 3 most recent round trip flights.
Not even one was found.
But they told me I couldn't take my water though LOL 😂.
I heard they were CRACKING down on snacks! I had mny stuff go through xray for jury duty into court room, and they also missed a knife that was in my purse, I did not remember having...it was my husbands...I was probably holding it in my purse with his wallet or something...and we both forgot about it.

They once pulled aside my brother for a finger print scan. Totally unnecessary. He was treated so poorly. He was only six at the time.

Truly this woman was visibly upset humiliated, all Tsa had to do was go by protocol & screen it seperate from the xray machine, the lady could then proceed to her gate to check in, the cop was wrong in telling her to go with what they say & do instead of telling them go ahead & screen it seperately to keep people moving. They did this to her as payback & who knows who may be next because you stand up for right, have your phones ready for proof.

Anyway, upon getting that job, I basically lost my father. He has completely changed from a funloving father that anybody would love to have to a fucking robot. His life literally consists of eating, sleeping, and working...I know people will say ''THAT'S NORMAL'', but it's not like that...this is to a degree that is literally fucking scary. They BROKE him. He just...goes with the flow now, and has absolutely no personality. Every time he talks to ANYBODY, he speaks to them as if they're a retarded 12 year old girl with NO respect for them. He acts like they're fucking stupid, he acts like everybody is stupid except for him and that he is superior...he acts like nobody understands anything but him, and his way is the right way. I read in the comments that she sued and won and that's great! As for those who wondered why she was bringing her breast milk thru again and why she didn't dump it out and instead, just produce more... Well, it's entirely possible she wasn't able to produce an ample amount of milk on demand to feed her baby. If that were the case, she definitely would need to keep every drop she produces. I know this from personal experience. It wasn't easy to produce milk when I had my children, so it was like liquid gold! Every drop had to be used. She also could've just kept it on principle. They were totally in the wrong here. That's pretty bad when even the manager doesn't know the rules and still doesn't follow them even after he reads them! That was nothing more than a bunch of inflated egos abusing their authority!

Also, breast milk has a lot of vitamins and minerals for the baby that you can't get from regular milk. And yes, I supplemented with formula, but as I said before, nothing is better for a baby than breast milk.

Sorry, as much as I'd like to just simply agree that the TSA overstepped their bounds (and they did - BTW), the simple truth is that there would be NO damage or dangerous alteration of the breast milk (or any other milk, for that matter) due to going through the "radiation X-ray machine" in the first place. And, secondly, if she was so damned worried about whether or not her 7 month old would be able to be fed when she got home, she pretty much removed ALL possibility of the child being fed at all by refusing to just cooperate by either disposing of the milk or allowing it to be X-rayed.
There's a time to stand on principle, and there are times when one's biggest concerns should be those of practicality. If she wanted to make a stand - she should have done so with a hell-of-a lot more time to spare.

The TSA agents didn't follow their own guidelines/rules because they were just being vindictive. That is a babys very important meal. If you can bring medicinal liquids through different testing procedures, then this mother has the very same right to have her breast milk through the same testing procedure, without having to explain herself and without having to explain to TSA what their very own policies are. Even if it is that easy for her to produce more milk, it doesnt mean they should infringe on her rights and doesn't mean they should put her on display and punish her. I wouldnt throw my milk away just bc someone else doesn't see the value in it.

@@malikahdaniels711 Breast milk is a classified as a medical liquid, like insulin for a diabetic. It has its own special guide lines and rules. The TSA has a way to identify the liquid as breast milk, but in this case, the TSA refused, defying federal law. So, the TSA was in the wrong and did not do their job.

@@malikahdaniels711 I'm not totally sure about this, but I think that if a mother does not pump on a regular schedule or does something to disrupt their pumping schedule, the breast milk in them decreases until it is gone.
This is TSA who I believe sometimes some of the workers know their stuff, but then there are those that have no clue on regulations and SOP. That manager needs to go back to training or be fired and she should sue the TSA for mistreatment.

One example is the USA makes everyone take their shoes off. Canada does not do that. No other country I have been to does that. Amazing! They're not educated enough, and not fit enough to be police officers, so they're TSA agents. That means they have to take anything that varies slightly from the norm, and make a big deal out of it. They have to throw their weight around so they feel like big shots. It's disgusting. Enigma w I'm guessing you're not a woman or a father, but some women are only able to produce small amounts of breast milk, sometimes none at all, and a lot of time when you are not near your child, you need to get the milk out of the breasts because it is painful even though you'd much prefer to feed it directly to your baby. a mother can't afford to waste ANY breast milk unless they are lucky to be able to produce a lot.

Fact of the matter is, TSA did not follow their own guidelines. So what she had breast milk? Yes, maybe she could've pumped another time. TSA were doing their jobs incorrectly. She waited almost an hour and missed her flight JUST because TSA wouldn't follow their own rules and do the alternate screening process. What difference would it have made if they X-rayed it or did the alternate screening? It still would've been screened regardless. I believe they were just lazy and didn't want to do it.

1. TSA staff deliberately made her wait - intentionally inflicting stress ("..remembered her from before") as punishment. 2. I believe TSA didn't have any staff present who knew how to perform alternative testing 'they had to locate a staffer who was trained to do it. Of course none of them would admit this. Believe this is why staffers delayed again and again. 3. Missing or deleted footage is a crime - tampering with evidence. The male "supervisor" and the staff person who is responsible for properly retaining records of footage should have been fired. 4. Because TSA is a FEDERAL agency (exists only via tax dollars), the failure of federal.employees to follow federal laws, as well as their harassment exhibited against this innocent, law abiding civilian warrants salary suspension for minimum of six months, a corrective action report that is retained permanently in their personnel file, official training exercises and testing, and finally, 5. TSA Officers do NOT have authority to arrest anyone or any authority to use force in performance of their duties. TSA LAWS AND GUIDELINES SHOULD BE POSTED AT CHECKPOINTS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES.

Same shit happen with me and my family. TSA was notified weeks before about us bringing my dad ashes over sea to be buried. They strip my brother naked for inspection. It I was more knockelageable about all of this. I would have definitely sued as well. Plus they made us throw away baby formula. That was my baby nephew food. Now I'm mad they got away with all of this..

Its not to bad I've always ended up having some really nice and kool people to talk to while on the bus but I have found though that the worst part of taking the bus is having to sit in Atlanta for alot longer than I would like I hate Atlanta more than any other place I have been to and I'm pretty sure that most people that have sat at the greyhound station there for more than an hour dont like it very much either you can't even go outside to smoke a cigarette without at least 5 people coming up to you looking for a handout of some sort or trying to rob you fuckin bunch of dirty mother fuckers down there hell the first time I was there when I was 19 someone got shot like 40 feet away from me outside. friendly piece of advice for anyone who reads this if you ever find yourself at the greyhound terminal in Atlanta don't ever go outside just stay inside and wait for your bus don't go outside for any reason other than to get on your bus

My son brought his Boy Scout Backpack which we were sure we emptied. We made it through security . We got to our destination and he found a fishing knife that was missed! It was pretty large. We didn’t bring it back with us . TSA makes mistakes but harassing a citizen over a legal item is wrong!

My father works for TSA, and has worked at some hospitals in the past, I'd know he'd never do something like this, though his supervisors has tricked him with toy guns and grenades, he finds a lot of werid shaped knives and guns
At one time I would fly for vacation 2-3 times per year. Now, I haven't flown for over 12 years because of what happening in airports and on planes. I know I'm not the only ones. Can you imagine the loss revenues because of this kind of behavior?

First I have found no proof that an xray will harm a mothers milk but I will tell you that I have personally noticed that after my first exray of my teeth I did get cavities and I started to age🤔
I also couldnt find anything that excluded breast milk from being xray. It was never stated that this woman in the video won anything and I cant find any ruling on the above story and I couldnt find anything that says you have the right to exclude your breast milk from screening by an xray. If there was such a rule then I am sure there would be lawsuits up the ass considering millions of flights every year in the United States, this cant be the only case to EVER happen.
I always run into people who know so much more then the people who actually do certain services for a living like Doctors, lawyers, mechanics, plumbers, tax consultants and law enforcement to name a few. They are not always right but in general they know far more then you do because it is their job and when they are wrong they will quickly catch hell for it, like using a drone to film a police station, confiscating a camera because you filmed the police or telling you that you cant carry a gun in public when there is an open carry law in your state. It doesnt take long for a novice employee to quickly learn what they cant do.

At one time back when TSA was created, it was filled with lots of veterans. However, politics and favoritism led to many of us moving on. As a former TSA Supervisor, this never happened on my shift. If a person is sent to additional screening, they were immediately screened and if cleared, free to go. Breast milk has always been excluded from x ray screening. Apparently TSA supervisors are not keeping up to date on policy changes as they happen daily. I'm ashamed by this.

All this nonsense with the TSA would stop if those who must fly would organize a two-day boycott with the threat of another two-day boycott a month later. After loosing billions of dollars in lost revenue the AIRLINES would put the pressure on the TSA and things would change. In fact, if enough people would boycott long enough the TSA would go away.
