- Morgan Wallen's two-year-old son, Indigo, was hospitalized after mom KT Smith's dog bit him. KT explains the incident on her Instagram story, revealing Indigo had to get stitches but he'll 'be OK.' She also shares that despite the attack, she couldn't get herself to put the dog down, and instead found him a new home on a farm without children.

Aweee im glad she rehomed him. Not every dog needs put down. Toddlers and small kids do irritate and torment dogs. Humans get mad and fight or hit, whats a dog to do!?
She should have rehomed him 6 feet underground. its a child predator, that attacked her baby. You have no evidence whatsoever that the child did anything to that demon. But even if the baby DID irritate the piece of garbage, why would anyone have a "family member" that would attack and slice open their childs face if the child did something annoying? Why do you horrible dog people have no parenting instinct? These poor children, being raised by parents that have no instinct to protect them.

Stop judging, we don’t know if the child pulled the tail, poked the eye. I agree with her, no need to put a good dog down, I agree with her 100%. She did the best for both her baby and the dog.

hes not completely ok. As far as attacks go, there are far worse, but he shouldnt have been attacked at all, dont you think? Didnt he have aright to be protected and kept safe in his own home, without having the terrifying experience of having his cheek bitten into? Hes not going to be completely unscathed. Dont you think it hurt, was scary, traumatizing, and will leave scars, maybe nerve damage, and maybe lasting pain?

We had a dog that came from the neighbors (they're amish) and he bit me. Hed been abused and starved. He was such a good boy afterwards.
Stop criticizing this mama. You dont know what happened to him, why he was in a shelter etc. She found him a home with no kids to live his best life
im criticizing her because her baby was attacked and injured by a child predator that she brought into the home, and now shes stroking and kissing the predator, saying hes good, while her traumatized and injured baby is in the hospital. Its horrifying to see what passes as a mother these days. Poor child.

Having a dog put down should be based on how aggressive the dog is. This sounds like the dog was surprised, hurt, bothered in some way, and snapped for a brief moment and bit the child.
An aggressive dog would most likely have attacked, and done far more damage. My neighbor had a dog that attacked my family dog. We raced him to the vet where we had to have him put down. The vet said that he could tell from the damage that the attack dog enjoyed it. He said that we should be grateful that it was the dog and not one of the grandkids.
My Dad told the neighbor if it came onto our property again, it would be shot and killed. The neighbor gave the dog away. He told my Dad that he was given the dog because it had jumped the neighbor fence and killed one of their cows. That dog should have been put down. Some time later I heard of a young boy being viciously attacked/mauled by a neighborhood dog, and I have wondered if it was the same dog.
If you're not sure if an animal should be put down, ask a vet. A vet will know if the attack warrants the dog being put down, or allowed to be given to someone else.
the dog DID attack. The dog is aggressive. ALL dogs are potentially aggressive, as you can never trust any dog to never, ever attack. Thats a ridiculous statement by the vet that he could tell by the wound that the dog enjoyed it. Vets arent smart enough to determine something like that. Its probably a safe bet to assume that ALL dogs get enjoyment out of attacking the most vulnerable of us, children and the elderly. After all, their play toys, such as squeaky toys and tug of war, are based on them attacking, hurting, and killing. Thats what they like to do, and gain enjoyment out of.
@@warondogs8199 - The video title states it was a bite . . . a bite, not an attack. A bite is not a vicious attack. A bite is a warning to leave it alone. Until they give more details as to what happened, I’m going to assume the dog got surprised or annoyed and warned the kid to go away and leave him alone.

@@warondogs8199 - There is no mention in this video that the child's cheek was ripped open. The mother mentions a bite and stitches. I think she'd be far more upset had her child's cheek been ripped open.

I’m glad her son is okay. But I really wish parents would stop allowed kids as small as him that much freedom around a dog to where this can happen. Littles do too much to dogs and are expected to handle way too much from littles.
most attacks are 100% unprovoked. In fact, i would like you to show me a news report about a dog attack on a child that was provoked. Not that that would be an excuse anyway. These things need to be removed from the home, BEFORE this happens.
Kids usually are very rough with pets. Not saying Indigo did that but most kids don’t respect the animals space
as if dogs respect childrens space.
Dog's most probably stressed? I mean why even think the "putting him down part" without considering other sane(r) options first? So, the open spaces of a farm land, and less 'restrictions' on freedom may be the better fit? Same goes for even human tolerance levels? Got to live with the finality of ones decision.🙂
She did the right thing. The dog that killed my neighbor’s infant was immediately euthanized and didn’t get a second chance after it took the four month old out of her baby swing, but her by the neck and dragged her around their living room. I can’t trust those animals, not with defenseless children and babies. This mom made the best choice, and other people would have put the dog down out of spite or just because it’s an easier option, and had she left the dog at the pound, with the bite on his record, the dog wouldn’t be a top pick for new owners.
😢 yes it is important to teach your puppy if you have a dog as a puppy to make sure that you know that the puppies and the kids deal with things differently and it's easier to train the dog but I would suggest if people do have any puppies is try to get them associated with you no children if you can I was lucky that I was able to do that with my child and cuz child her child Chow story and anyway I got her with a lot of kids now she's 8 years of age but I notice we got a new puppy and this puppy the retriever adults do that kind of like dogs communicate with their mouths and so when you when you have kids around dogs are going to snap and all that with the kids and less and less you train them not to as puppies cuz the way our adult dog is training the puppy he's about six months is he'll get right up from the face to lick her and she'll turn around and come if you know communicate with the mouth and so that's just a dog thing so you kind of have to teach the dogs and the kids together but most of the dogs aren't going to just change their instincts but I'm glad everything turned out and I hope that he ends up understanding a lot in the dog can be redone Andre Holmes and hopefully everything will work out in the end good
This proves how LOON dog lovers are. If a dog that could've murdered a child and ya'll still hope he's okay is why I have a bad depiction of all dog lovers.. not ONE comment of anyone holding the dog OR its owner responsible..Im hearing mostly people blaming the child only talking about the dog's personal space yet if no one wants to play with your dogs that invaded OUR personal space you still would have an issue.
