Hey David, thanks so much! It is a pretty cool angle. Didn't get to play with it a ton last year so I am just waiting on some snow to get after it this year and try a few more different things. The new cameras have better resolution with that Horizon Lock. It is currently raining to the top of Whistler so hopefully it cools down. Thanks for taking the time to comment! 👊🤘
Hey mate! Yep, horizon level on the leg mount will be great in old growth trees, shin to knee deep, the footage will be very unique. Find some zones with the sun behind you on a blue bird so the moss and bark get light up, epic ⚡🤙
Hey Steve, thank you very much! In that video I use the Sandmarc Metal edition Pole 38-127cm. I found it heavy to ride with though and switched this year to, usmallbee 59'/150cm carbon pole which is bare bones but crazy light and working great so far. Both off of Amazon. You can see it in this video, unfortunately I forget to turn horizon lock on on my leg mount in this one though. lol ua-cam.com/video/8JL-O5T1vFo/v-deo.htmlsi=CT51kEZyjp6WMRAa Thanks for the question and comment.👊
Hey footlong, thanks, I think it works pretty good too. Didn't get to put it to a ton of use last season but I am planning on filming a lot more this year so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the comment!👊🤘
Hey Dan, thanks for the comment!! You should give it a go. Just start on a nice soft snow day, maybe a lesson for the first time or two, and you'll be shredding in no time. Where are you?
@@JSB1729 no problem at all. I don't know if you do any other winter specific activities, or actually like winter, but doing them does help the winter be more enjoyable for me. 😁 If you are ever out in Whistler, BC shoot me message and we'll go up the hill.
Thanks for the comment Bret. That's interesting, did you watch all the way to where I had Horizon Lock on (5:15ish)? The camera angle doesn't move and there is no motion, other than the board. I agree without that on in the clips prior , it totally does, but with it on I find it is pretty steady. Is it the motion of the board or the camera that makes you nauseous? Sorry for making you sick 🤮🤪
Hey mmtot, thanks for the comment. I totally agree. I’ve shot some new footage like that but nothing worth watching yet. It is a lot better with a bit more nose, but not too much nose! Lol Hopefully get something up with that angle soon. 🤟
@@mmtot I was using the Max Lens mod with Horizon Lock on the Hero 9. I am going to try using the Horizon lock in camera on the Hero 10 next and see how that goes. I can shoot in a higher res than with the Lens Mod. With certain programs you can do the levelling in post but I did it in camera in that vid.
great video showing the different mounts! The leg/boot mount with the horizon lock is awesome!

Hey hey!!!! Thanks for the suggestion my friend. I actually had today earmarked to binge some Tae and Neve content!! 😃👊
@@RidingThruLife My pleasure! The boys are loving the show, great process for them. Thanks for the support 🤙🙏
Very nice video, do can you tell me how long your extension pole is? Or which extension pole you use?

Very nice man, I want to start snowboarding or skiing but it looks scary.

Be cool to see the cam just above the ankle, strapped around the boot with more nose in shot.

@@RidingThruLife is horizon lock selected on the camera before filming or is it a feature of the software after the footage is captured?
