Delta is one of the very few artists who can touch me with their voice alone. Her voice is so strong, powerful, and yet angelic. I get goosebumps listening to any of her songs, and each version of born to try gets even better and more thrilling. She's the definition of talent in its purest form 💗.

Wow that rendition of Born To Try is pure perfection. Emotional, perfectly pitched, powerful highs, pensive solemn lows, had me captivated throughout…I had to buy the song from iTunes but this live rendition takes the cake! I’ll keep coming back to watch and listen to it time and time again. The didgeridoo and Opera House backdrop made for a simply stunning setup and I was so proud to be a Sydneysider. I agree with the other writers asking you to repeat this rendition at your concerts. It’s deeply touching and mesmerising! Good one Delta. You’ve done us proud on the world stage. I remember she had trouble reaching the high note in believe during the bridge during and after her treatment. I’m so glad she has been able to regain the higher register especially in this song, even if it’s delivered slightly differently to the original (probably because of voice maturity as she still very young when originally recorded). The bridge really makes this song, I feel, it’s always been my favourite part.
I lived in Australia for a year and was grade 5 when this song came out. I listened to her songs everyday with CD player (i remeber there were three versions of ‘Born to try’) still she is my best aussie singer ♥️

Delta has been through so much through the years. Its nice to see her still enjoying the music every time i see her perform. And constantly reinventing the wheel. Making her songs special and real with every performance. Its not an act its never “just another show/performance” Shes the real deal. Faults and heart and power and control and care. She puts everything into her music in a way so many other artists fail to do.

I remember she had trouble reaching the high note in believe during the bridge during and after her treatment. I’m so glad she has been able to regain the higher register especially in this song, even if it’s delivered slightly differently to the original (probably because of voice maturity as she still very young when originally recorded). The bridge really makes this song, I feel, it’s always been my favourite part.
