People are really forgetting the fact that Humungasaur was a replacement for Four Arms once the Omnitrix recalibrated. He was in fact one great substitute considering that he didn’t just have strength, but was also capable of taking on more damage as he’d grow as well, which did prepare Ben for the strength that Humamgasaur came with. Similarly how he got Swampfire after having had experience with Heatblast and Wildvine. However, if it did come to combat between the two, Fourarms would be compared to as the fast and scrappy fighter.

Like Forever Knights for example. They’re just humans under the armor. I mean, seeing a Albedo as Humungasaur beating the Forever Knights the first time he was on screen was just entertaining because we never truly saw that side of Ben that wouldn’t hold back. It was a nice detail that the recalibrated aliens were selected by combining traits of the previously accessible aliens. Such as providing Echo Echo, who has cloning like Ditto and a sonic scream like Blitzwolf. Or Jetray by giving him a neurologist boast similar to Upgrades’ optic blast, speed similar to XLR8, speed and flight. Swampfire is kinda obvious as to which two. I always saw it as a nice detail to those that pay attention.

Way I always understood it when it came to Ben’s main ‘bruiser’ aliens (Humungousaur, Four-Arms, and Rath): Humungousaur: Physically strongest, with greatest durability due to armored hide. Something that can even be improved on further by way of his size shifting and armor growth. Four-Arms: Midway strength, midway durability, midway agility, compared to the other two, with this balance letting him be more versatile. Plus has, well, four arms. Rath: Physically weakest of the trio, but much more fast and agile, with that claw making up for things.
People always sight how Princess Looma defeated humungousaur, while fourarms beat Looma in a fight although they were pretty even, but the thing is, Rath also beat Looma in a fight and it wasn’t a stalemate like he just tossed her aside, but he’s weaker than both of them, this goes to show that physical strength doesn’t always determine who wins in a fight.
Humungosaur is stronger obviously, but in combat situation fourarms is a better option, he's faster and has better reflexes, and maybe durability wise he might be superior somehow, in the two different circumstances where ben fought princess looma and trombipulor, humungosaur was easily defeated by by both of them, while fourarms was able to toe to toe with trombipulor longer, he was also able to defeat looma, so this is pretty much proven in series who's a better choice for ben in fight.
Likewise,Four Arms probably wouldn't be able to contend against High Breeds the way Humungosaur did. He'd be quickly overwhelmed by their superior size and power. Both are better for different situations
Both are overhated aliens by the fandom for some reason. Yeah, they were overused as fuck, but Four Arms at least gave us really cool action scenes with great choreography in the OS. I was very strong in the first episode. Strong enough to rip a pole out of the ground and throw it. Swampfire is one of my favorites, even though he’s a replacement for Heatblast

They introduced Humungosaur doing these things I never saw Four Arms do (like temporarily growing his size), and actually holding his own against Vilgax at one point (something even Diamond Head couldn't do in the OG series). Humungosaur is definitely physically stronger , but Four-arms is a far better fighter in terms of mobility and the use of "4 arms". As shown in the fight with Princess Looma , FA beat her while HA got owned by her. He in a later epm

I also think it's obvious as to the fact humungousaur is the stronger alien, Ben anytime he had access to both would always prefer humungousaur over fourarms in most scenarios and relies on him alot more. Humungousaur also has fought far stronger foes like the Hybrid that are stated to be around Vilgax in strength and fights Ultimate Agraggor, fights against one of the stronger forms of Malware and is able to dodge his lasers. Not to mention humungousaur can actually increase his strength by growing in size, fourarms is stagnant he doesn't have the ability to grow stronger. Fourarms doesn't have the superior feats or narrative to put him above humungousaur.
Imo I agree woth you that tetramands are weaker than Vaxosaurians but I think the difference is that Tetramands being more like a warrior race, they have a higher battle IQ than Vaxosaurians but although relatively intelligent enough Vaxosaurians being from a dinosaur planet, they still have that primal strength.

Humungousaur can multiply his strength by five, after about doubling he becomes stronger than four arms. He doesn’t have to grow to increase his strength.

I'll give you an example, he considered that Vulkanus always had a baby's body, since that was denied in Omniverse. The same with the strength of Four Arms, he considered that the Tetramand was stronger than the base Humungousaur, however, Four Arms lost against Trombipulor while Humungousaur beat him in their rematch, also in the video itself you have the strength comparison of both Aliens.

Four Arms is supposed to be a mix of Wrath and Humongousaur, Wrath is a swift skilled fighter and Humongousaur is a slow tank with immense strength, together you get the best of both worlds plus 2 extra arms, which provides a grappling advantage with good strength while maintaining dexterity and agility to maneuver around.
Rath is a whole problem, he's a brute with great melee, four arms is similar in that regard but he's his own thing. Humungousaur is pure brawn, meant for explosive power in times of need.

It's not entirely consistent, though I do agree that Humungousaur, purely based on their strength (not combat ability) should be greater than Four Arms. The two counter points I hear is DJW and Princess Looma. DJW is basically WoG but he's not the original creator, who sadly passed away. He never seemed 100% reliable, especially since he had his own ideas for the show that retcons past stuff. Looma is also not that reliable, yeah she defeated Humungosaur and lost to Four Arms, but let's not forget that Rath was able to overpower Looma, and I highly doubt Rath is physically stronger than Humungousaur, I just don't see it personally. It's about skill too, but all Rath did was throw Looma away from him, hardly much combat skill was used.

Humungosaur is definitely physically stronger , but Four-arms is a far better fighter in terms of mobility and the use of "4 arms".

The people who disagree either don't remember much or haven't watched the show from start to finish.
I also think it's obvious as to the fact humungousaur is the stronger alien, Ben anytime he had access to both would always prefer humungousaur over fourarms in most scenarios and relies on him alot more.
Humungousaur also has fought far stronger foes like the Hybrid that are stated to be around Vilgax in strength and fights Ultimate Agraggor, fights against one of the stronger forms of Malware and is able to dodge his lasers.
Not to mention humungousaur can actually increase his strength by growing in size, fourarms is stagnant he doesn't have the ability to grow stronger.
Fourarms doesn't have the superior feats or narrative to put him above humungousaur.

Imo I agree woth you that tetramands are weaker than Vaxosaurians but I think the difference is that Tetramands being more like a warrior race, they have a higher battle IQ than Vaxosaurians but although relatively intelligent enough Vaxosaurians being from a dinosaur planet, they still have that primal strength.

Humungousaur can multiply his strength by five, after about doubling he becomes stronger than four arms. He doesn’t have to grow to increase his strength.
Ok I’d like you to clarify if you don’t mind about the not having to grow to get physically stronger because as far as I know the drawback to becoming stronger was that he did it as he got larger, eliminating his ability to fight in smaller areas, and became a bit more feral every major size change he could do, so please correct me if I’m wrong or tell me where you got this info so I can check because I’m very interested

I'll give you an example, he considered that Vulkanus always had a baby's body, since that was denied in Omniverse. The same with the strength of Four Arms, he considered that the Tetramand was stronger than the base Humungousaur, however, Four Arms lost against Trombipulor while Humungousaur beat him in their rematch, also in the video itself you have the strength comparison of both Aliens.

Four Arms is supposed to be a mix of Wrath and Humongousaur, Wrath is a swift skilled fighter and Humongousaur is a slow tank with immense strength, together you get the best of both worlds plus 2 extra arms, which provides a grappling advantage with good strength while maintaining dexterity and agility to maneuver around.

Still Four Arms is my favorite. Very agile & powerful.
It's not entirely consistent, though I do agree that Humungousaur, purely based on their strength (not combat ability) should be greater than Four Arms. The two counter points I hear is DJW and Princess Looma.
DJW is basically WoG but he's not the original creator, who sadly passed away. He never seemed 100% reliable, especially since he had his own ideas for the show that retcons past stuff. Looma is also not that reliable, yeah she defeated Humungosaur and lost to Four Arms, but let's not forget that Rath was able to overpower Looma, and I highly doubt Rath is physically stronger than Humungousaur, I just don't see it personally. It's about skill too, but all Rath did was throw Looma away from him, hardly much combat skill was used.
