I like how you're honest with each and every item, because same as you, I also don't feel like buying some of their merch bec it's not convenient, I'm on a tight budget (I'm a student). like, I was once asked by a seller if I'm interested in KTL album, but I refused and bought The Album v4 instead because it's their full album and not a mini one, and I also have the two lightsticks because I earned to buy them. and now, I promised myself to temporarily stop buying any merch anymore because I'm earning for their future world tour. then, once I get a lot of money I'm gonna purchase their previous albums because they're nice to look at and place on shelves. but the concert is my top priority as of now! it's hard, but I hope I can resist :D

One thing I have learned tho is that if a deal looks incredibly pricey, hold off on it, you’ll always find a cheaper price elsewhere. Good luck with your collection!!

huuuh i'm shocked you thought hylt was a bad purchase! if you're only looking for the cd then yeah i'd agree but in terms of the photobook i personally think it's their best one yet due to its size and glossiness, reminds me of a magazine, which i absolutely adore. i hated the size of square up/the album (afaik they're around the same size) as the photos were so small, and i was so happy when they released hylt because i thought it'd mark a permanent change in how large their photobooks were going to be. that's just me though haha i really appreciate how you don't have the 'stan goggles' on that most kpop stans are plagued with, and you don't blindly praise everything they put out. you criticise what needs to be criticised and praise what deserves to be praised. it's very refreshing & i loved the video!! i'm slowly building up my own blackpink collection i started last year due to boredom more than anything else over the lockdowns and i know i'm gonna keep coming back to this video to check what else i still need to get as it's one of the most comprehensive collections i've seen yet on youtube. thanks for making it!!

Ok hear me out… How you like that was a bad purchase in my opinion because I didn’t think it was right for YG to be charging us for a book with 1 song that’s also in the full album. One might argue that the concepts are different from the album, and it would be the only way to get the How you like that photos, but I am personally not a fan of the How you like that concept - feel free to put a dislike in my How you like that video too 😂😂😂 As for the size, I didn’t really like it at the time, because it felt like it was in-between sizes (i.e. not too big and not too small). I loved the tinier photo books because they were compact and super clean, and I also loved the new Rosé photo book because it was so big that it worked as a separate size category. I hope the above reasons give you more insight into my view on the book! Next, I want to thank you for the really kind comment! I try not to blindly praise everything because a lot of this merchandise is expensive. There are a lot of people that love kpop but can’t bring themselves to spend their disposable income on goods. While I love collecting merchandise, I also want to be able to help people make a decision as to whether an item is worth their hard earned income or whether the big record labels are just trying to scam people for subpar products! Nothing is worse than spending your money on something you’re excited about just to feel disappointed. I hope your own Blackpink collection will grow fast and consist of things you are genuinely happy with! Once again, I appreciate the support and kind words!

Apologies for the late reply! Stationery stores should sell shrink wrap, which is a roll of plastic that you can seal off with a heat sealer. Then use a hairdryer and watch the plastic shrink!
Yes! I recently learned that these are the rereleased versions! Still the same, but no chance of signature. I really wish I waited just that extra month for a rerelease, but I guess I learned my lesson 😂
If u wanna make another blackpink purchase go for blackpink jabares collection I don't know the right name but it comes in a mic and heart shaped box and u have to assemble them

If you go to a bookstore, you’ll be able to find a shrink wrap. It normally comes in a giant roll. Cut out enough shrink wrap to go over the book on all sides, then use a plastic sealer to burn the sides shut. After that, take a hair dryer and watch the plastic shrink. Hopefully this helps, I’m sure there are videos online that explain it better than a comment reply, but good luck!!

Definitely a fan and a collector, I can be a little harsh with the merch as some of them are incredibly expensive, and I would not want people to spend hard-earned money on things that are not worth it
You have no idea how jealous I am of you Lisa photobook that's the only Lisa item that I don't have in my collection and it's the most important too. I learned a very valuable lesson from that, that when it comes to Lisa goodies, I have to buy it immediately cause Lisa goodies are sold-out at the blink of an eye. Not buying that photobook immediately is still by biggest regret to this day.
