My hose just started leaking and couldn’t find anything regarding videos or part numbers. Found your video, ordered the assembly using your link, and will begin taking everything apart tomorrow when I get home from the steel mill. You definitely saved me a world of trouble and a big headache! Awesome video and thank you!
I love your videos. Very easy to understand and you don't skip any steps. I live in Canada and I have a US truck. My speed gauge is in both MPH and KPH, I'm surprised yours doesn't show both, it's law here. I didn't know you could get on one.
Thank you for the video very helpful going through the same thing right now with my 2017 l5p with 180k on it 😢
Thanks for the video, exactly what I have to do, although I have not pinpointed the leak yet. Pretty sure it will be the same spot
I didn't find mine until the lines were out. Hope the video helps. It's really not that bad of a job. Seems a lot worse than it is. Good luck with it
And it looks to be the cooler itself, I think will be much easier than the lines. Remove grill and bumper... But it is never that easy...
@@CFarmer Mine was the cooler itself. Went very quickly! All fixed
Great vid, very informative, be safe out there. Thanks.
Nice video, you did a great job!!
Great video.
Thank you!
Hugely helpful to those that may need to tackle this job. I need to take my grill off and check to see if my lines are running. Great vids, and definitely appreciative the work you put in to sharing L5P knowledge! 👍
Good video bud. Did you replace your main radiator. It sure looked clean. Stay safe my friend
Hello sir!!
Have you dealt with p2147 with your L5P? Got any ideas what it could be says fuel injector group a low voltage
Where did u cut frame?
U never figured out what was sharp chafing, and on the line?
ua-cam.com/video/15UJJsSizCU/v-deo.html
There's a link to the video of me cutting lines. I didn't see anything that could've rubbed on that spot. Not sure
Great Detail of the process. Thank You for Sharing. I look forward to your videos.
Do you have a part number for this ? Do the lines come separate or together?
www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-transmission-cooler-bypass-valve-84444069
84444069 is the part number. The link should take you to the auxilary lines and they come with the bypass valve
Can I only buy the one line that got a hole rubbed through it ?
Good video it sure did help me out a lot and I appreciate it ..
Thanks for posting.....
Thanks much for this video. Was of great help. Just replaced my auxiliary cooler line(was leaking) in my 2018 GMC 3500.
It took most of the day, but it was so worth it.
Could not have done without you!
Thank you! GM had issued a letter of an extended warranty on this “rub” issue. It expired in May of 23… Mine started leaking a few weeks ago, dealership wants 1300$ to fix something GM should be responsible for in my opinion. This should be a recall, shame on GMC. I ordered the valve assembly using your link, hope you get some kickback for all your efforts! 2017 2500HD
How long you going to pull with her..... going to fun to see.
great video, did you install new rad at the end? if not that was amazing cleaning job looks great!
Very good video. You make things look so easy. I just hate that you had the leak. I hope you don't have another repair issue for a while. Maybe you can do something easy like a product review or a lot of beautiful scenery next time!
Great video, I appreciate all of your videos. The only thing I haven't seen you change that I have is a glow plug.
I'm watching for one to fail. As soon as it does I'll change all 8. I'm supprised i haven't had at least 1 go bad
I used the part number you left and every time i go to a store the part looks
Wrong and doesnt go past 2013??
Hmm, I'll check it out
I called the dealer just now and gave them the part number 84444069 and asked him what part was associated with that number. He said it gets both auxiliary transmission cooler lines but the valve is sold separately now. When i click the link it takes me to the same page i think you're seeing. It doesn't look correct but according to the dealer is the right part number. I would call your local dealer and ask for price and part number and availability. Sorry for the confusion on the link. Looking at it today It confused me too
Hi Wondering do you still interested in our sponsorship? Still looking forward to send some of our lighting kits
I was glad to see you changed out the condenser, I don't imagine it was inexpensive but you happen to have all the tools to vacuum out and charge it which is very handy. Those condensers get damaged by bugs and road debris and at some point they are fit for the garbage as they become like putting a winter front on the coolant rad. Were you able to blow out the trans cooler as it looked pretty plugged up with bugs as well.
I thank you for this video you saved me a hell lot of time guessing
do you have any videos on stabilatrack or checking the wheel hub?
I'm sorry, I don't. i had one stabilatrack issue early on and it was a faulty adapter for a set of gauges I had plugged into the obd2 port.
@@CFarmer i did see that video also i only sometimes get the light when i make right turns on speed bumps and such could it be the wheel hub tho? Or just connector
I'm really glad I put the bug screen on mine. I was doing my pre trip this morning and i'm almost threw up from all the dead bugs on that thing.
Good video
I have a 2021 2500HD L5P Canadian spec truck with a 200mph spedo my gvrw is 9900 lbs does that sound right?
It does. Same as mine
Great video! My new lines just arrived today, about to go put them on.
You got a few more miles than I did. My 2017 1 ton has only 104k miles on it and the bumper bracket has worn through one of the lines. Camping season has started and I’m so mad this stupid design is delaying the start of my season.
Extremely helpful, thanks for posting it!!!
Thank you, glad the video helped
I have a question about manual shifting. Do you take your foot off the peddle when shifting through the gears or what. I’ve looked on here for videos and haven’t seen any that goes into that. So didn’t know if you knew. Thanks
Personally, i don't. I caint see where it would hurt to let off but i think it's designed to shift under acceleration
Ok thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about yours, & hoping for a quick fix for it too.
Awesome video and very helpful man ❤ thanks
Thank you! I'm glad it helped
I appreciate this video so much, did this whole process today in 3 hours with the help of this video, on a '17 3500 gmc, the bumper filler between the headlights and bumper was the only difference
493k miles that's crazy this l5p is better 6.7 cummins...
I took out mine out last year and never put it back for winter. it was -20c somedays hope i didnt do any damage.
Had this same issue and followed this video step by step. Worked perfectly! Thank you!
Always helpful. Just watching someone go through the disassembly/reassembly process gives some understanding on what needs to be done. I always learn something from your videos and come away with the feeling that I can do this, when needed. Thanks.
Great how to video!!! Thx for sharing
Thank you!
Top notch gravel driveway tech right here!
I was the guy that discussed this issue with you via the comments section a couple years ago after I changed mine out.
Good video .
