Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
She probably can't get it to recline in the car. I have an SUV and even with the front seat all the way forward I can't recline the baby seat as there isn't enough room. Great for on the pram though
I have just purchased this car seat for when my new arrival comes and I am concerned that the infant inlay seems to not support the neck, I noticed that when you put the car seat in the car empty the insert was in place, but when you placed woody in there the infant inlay wasnt to be seen? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
Tara Piggott TSG Building Services Plc Hi, I’m thinking to buy the car seat but I’ve got the same concerns as you did. May I ask how you got on with yours?
Anna Dewitt I emailed Joie to ask about this and they replied saying the headrest for the i level is not removable, it’s designed to fit snug around the head.
Yes my son is 8months now and i think the head rest is too small specially when he has a hood on with his jacket. It is really annoying. Now i need to buy a new car seat as this only suitable for babies upto 6months even after removing the inserts i think its still very tight. My son is just below the average weight of UK babies
My 18 month old even fit in without complaining. She’s long but skinny though. And shouldn’t be in there anymore but she was happy to sit in it and her head fit in the headrest.
I can’t recommend this car seat. It’s very heavy with a slightly older baby, making it difficult to fit into the car. The main issue is the head support, which is far too tight on the head and pushes my daughter’s ears forwards every time she tries to move her head. I should mention that she’s of average size. The head support makes it difficult to position the baby correctly as it s so tight the baby ends up sitting lower than they should.
Same! My baby is ONLY 7 weeks at the moment and his head is far too snug in there. I wondered what you did about this? I wish I could change the insert for something slightly larger because I'm so. Sure he won't even be able to get into it in a few weeks time

Love Joie car seats - think they're so safe and sturdy!
Any idea the best way to remove this from stroller adapters?
Thanks for showing me where that hidden button for loosening the straps was located.
It would have been more helpful to see the recline position while in the car.
I am having issues with the angle in the car being too upright for my newborn...?!?
joie say you can recline in the car as well as on the pram

wow i looked for that hidden button forever, not even their tutorial helped. Thank youu so much
How are you finding it now? The headrest looks very narrow for a older baby

I'd also like to know how older babies get on with the head support - I don't see how they're going to fit for long!
Laura Lux you can remove the insert.

Wouldn't recommend, my baby hates this car seat. Head support is very snug, will have to buy a new car seat very soon!

can this seat be used without the base?
NvZ hi I’ve got this car seat, it can only be used with the isofix base
It is one of the heavy ones. You are so strong...
Berapa usia bayi ketika menggunakan infant seat ?

100% agree with you.. I had same all these problem

Yep agreed this is an awful car seat
This is the worst car seat I every used. The ibase isofix has the ability to lift off the seat in an impact. For that reason, I changed to maxi cosi.
Five Stars
No worth it
