  • Around 28 percent of Egypt's population lives below the poverty line. And for poorer residents in Cairo, owning a home on dry land just isn't an option. Many of the capital's residents have no other option but to live on the Nile as Abubakr al Shamahi reports

    If you avoid the religious fanatics, Arabs are very good people. I got lost in Cairo once and an Arab family took me in for a night. I have nothing bad to say about Egyptian Arabs.
