Hi friends! It's time to talk about all the HOT new makeup releases and sneak peeks in the world of luxury beauty! In this week's episode of pass or yasss, we have some juicy new summer makeup coming from Chanel. The Chanel collection is inspired by A Midsummer Nights Dream by Shakespeare which makes sense with the colour combos. I love the duo berry blush and bluish purple 💜 stylo.

I have an old school Dior blush/highlighter duo that I just adore called Brun Cannelle. It is the most beautiful glowy toasted cinnamon with a cinnamon pink highlighting powder. I don’t care how old it is, I still use and love it so much.

I definitely want that Berry blush/highlighter duo and maybe the lilac shimmer pencil! Someone said the pencils would have been great to release with the single shadows, which would have made a lot of sense. If I can get it, I’ll also pick up the Dior pink/lilac duo!

The ysl eyeshadow in 710 definitely has caught my eye. I love looking at makeup, but I only really wear super basic makeup these days. I have no problem having 20 boring neutral palettes; they have subtle differences and it’s always enjoyable to buy something I know I’ll actually wear.

My Lisa Eldridge lip balm’s came yesterday, Sweet Fig & Epanoui, & what a disappointment 😢they taste like cheap chapstick, really makes me gag 🤢 my first fail from Lisa, I’ll put some Clarins lip oil on top, which tastes great!

I just received the Wayne Goss brush set yesterday. I’ve only used them once but I prefer my BK Beauty brushes and my rephyr brushes. They don’t pick up much product. I’ll keep trying them but I’m a little disappointed. I’m very interested in the Chanel eye pencil, the YSL quads especially the 700 and 810. Can’t wait to see your reviews on these products! Excited you are going to Italy. Have been several times when hubby could travel. Now, there are figs and there are figs! We were in Capri and hubby bought 6 figs and they were huge and luscious. Okay I love these videos and your excitement every time!! Chanel has got me! Geez I want everything. But if I’m honest with myself I’m never wearing that neony green pencil so I’ll skip on that and skip on the peachy browny blush but everything else is a YAS for me. And that’s it. lol. I’m excited for the Natasha Denona Gold release coming this week! Thank you to someone in the comments saying you didn’t like the Lisa Eldridge lip balm. I was on the fence because I already have so many lip balm formulas I need to use and I couldn’t bring myself to purchase yet another pricey lip balm. Skipping on that even though I adore Lisa Eldridge and have almost everything she comes out with. 💜💜💜

There is so much good stuff coming out this year. The YSL clutch eyeshadow in 800 is calling my name. I love the gold colors. The Chanel solar glow stick looks amazing. I should be on a no buy with everything I’ve purchased from them all year. They’re killing me. I am putting a no buy on blush. I literally don’t have enough days to wear them all.

I do like the look of Pat's lip pencils though - but yeah I'm going to dry in store before I buy one as I'm not too sure if they need to be sharpened or do they twist up?

Since I don’t really see him as technologically gifted, I’m guessing Apple may be putting these together from snooping through his phone like they tend to do. They send me pet video montages all the time. You know we live vicariously through your adventures, so I hope you remember your devoted followers while you are there. We do understand you may actually crave some time off, though, and certainly respect that you are entitled to it. Out of today’s reviews, I am most interested in the Chanel pencils. I am definitely buying like, almost all of that Chanel. And I agree the dior shade range is an actual shame. I’ll probably get at least one of the ysl, I love the formula. But I may wait to see if they go to Sephora for the winter sale. Or some sort of sale.

The Lisa Eldridge is super nourishing but not super pigmented or shiny, just be aware. I love them still but it is very subtile

I ordered 5 of the new Wayne goss brushes, mix of face and eye, they got here last night! I havnt used them for makeup application yet, but he did not oversell the softness! I may get 1 or 2 more of eye brushes for my liquid eyeshadows.

Omg Dior has a foundation stick?! Hallelujah as long as it doesn’t set down too too much. They are the only ones that make an olive light enough for my light olive skin that is not too grey. This can not possibly be the shade range! Fingers crossed that they make all their colors in this. And I love the ysl clutches. I will want to check out 700 and 710 as I love stora dolls.
The Lilo is limited edition for summer it comes back every summer with a little different packaging it’s a nice scent not a fantastic scent for summer but Diptyque has great hair oils and they usually come out with a Lilo hair perfume oil every year too 🥰

I’d love to see the YSL 810 compared against the Hermes with the orange color story. Love my Baume Embraces, they’re like Lucent Lites and feel soooo good on the lips; I purchased Meet Cute, Sweet Fig, and Metropolis. They’re comparable to the Chanel Coco Bloom formula, but even more glossy. Chef’s kiss! 💋

I was interested in the WG synthetic brushes, but i bought the mykitco and danessa myrricks collab brushes instead. They are amazing.

I was in LV at the store in Las Vegas and the Ilio fragrance smells amazing. I just wish they made a smaller size of the fragrance - they only offer a large bottle and I have so many fragrances - so I'm still thinking about it but it is so tempting. I have a lot of Sonia G brushes and Rephr brushes along with some Sigma - so I'm not interested in buying more brushes right now. I definitely want Chanel's light berry blush (I only buy cool tones so this is right up my alley - thank you Chanel), moonlight kiss highlight, and the mint green eye pencil from Chanel. Nothing else interests me.
Please let me know what you think about the Dyptique EDT. It sounds heavenly but I don’t want to spend the money if it’s not great.
Hayyyyyyyy❤. I bought the WG brushes to add to vast collection 😂. I really like them. They are very very soft. They are workhorse brushes for sure. You don’t have to be delicate with them, so they are a win for me. They do stain , patina if you will 😉 obvs, but that is the point. 💋

From these releases, I’d like Chanel shadow stick more, YSl looks reparative, not so much variety, though Smokey ones grab attention. I had diptyque perfume before and it’s light citrusy and fresh, Jasmin is so subtle and like a hint that every now and then shows up. I like to get its body spray since cheaper and good size and good but doesn’t stay long. I haven’t tried any Dior reformulation yet😁
Looking forward to your reviews, especially the Chanel and Dior blush/highlighters! Those are interesting to me! Haven't seen those colors before. If they've been released before, I totally missed them. Could you compare the pink shades to the Dior Backstage Face Glow palette (the one you said you like and is always sold out at Sephora with the white, pink, champagne, and gold)? Thank you! : )

Hi Sofia! The Chanel berry blush/highlighter duo is very enticing (and I want it - though I suspect I might end up using it more on the eyes, because those shades are unnatural, even for someone who has a cool-ish skin tone, like me). To me, the Dior face duos look more wearable. I look forward to your reviews of both collections. I look forward also to your review of YSL’s upcoming eye quads. I have 3 of the original quads and I love them all. The Wayne Goss brushes are probably good but the white bristles and white handles impart a “drugstore” look (basically, they look like a step-down from WG’s original set of brushes). For that reason, I do not intend to buy them. I am curious about the Pat McGrath Lipstick crayons, especially the nude shades. Thank you very much for this great Pass or Yass video.

As for Wayne Goss’s new brush line, that’s a pass from me for sure. I love his black brushes, they’re excellent. But u don’t have any interest in adding more synthetic brushes to my collection because I have soooo many. Random ones but a long time ago when I was first really getting into make up I went HARD on sigma brushes and now that I have so many natural hair brushes, I almost never reach for them. For me, this launch came out about 6 years too late.
Love watching your reviews. Not buying the brushes... LOVE BK Beauty brushes, and have been using mostly those. Also, regarding the all white brushes ... My only all white are the Rephr brushes. I associate all white now with natural vs synthetic bristles. Still interested in your review. Thanks.

Ilio and citronelle are limited editions however they did have it several years ago and with another artist (luke edward hall) collab. The citronelle candle is supposed to be a mosquito deterring candle and it also smells very gentle and clean! Ilio smells very fresh and subtly sweet i think you’ll like it but maybe not love it. I keep forgetting I own it even though I do like it. It’s unique to diptyque’s typically strong fragrances.

I know this is Luxury per se and you aren’t discussing this right now BUT, have you tried the new Lawless Beauty Pinch My Cheeks Soft-Blur Cream Blushes yet!? Omgosh they sent me a huge pr box with all of them and GIRL!!! Do they blur!? Yessss!! I’d love to see your review on them!

To me the Chanel collection makes no sense and yet I want all of it. I texted my SA as soon as I saw it! 😂 I also want a couple of those Dior duos-I bet those go FAST! I bought three of the LE lip balms, but I wish she’d bring out some more satin lip shades. Diptique’s Ilio is lovely but it barely lasts because it’s an EDT; it came out last year too.

Omg Dior has a foundation stick?! Hallelujah as long as it doesn’t set down too too much. They are the only ones that make an olive light enough for my light olive skin that is not too grey. This can not possibly be the shade range! Fingers crossed that they make all their colors in this. And I love the ysl clutches. I will want to check out 700 and 710 as I love stora dolls. I got the LE lip balm sand I really hope I like them as I got 2 colors. Now I’m nervous about the reviews In The comments.

Love the Queen Musia Lipstick in "Ada" you have on! Do you think the color is similar to the new Chanel Lip Laque in the shade "Seashell?" If not, I may buy this one. ❤ I also ordered Wayne Goss' new brushes #9, #11, & #12 thrrough Beautylish. I wanted to try a few before ordering a bunch of these. On the YSL Eyeshadow, I like #800 in gold, and would love to see the reviews. I'm really waiting for that new ND Gold palette to come out and will likely buy that one!
So seashell is a little more of a nude and Ada comes off more peachy and light

Looks like YSL are launching a fall/winter eyeshadow collection- I am interested in 710 and 800, very wearable. I missed out on Babylone Roses and Stora Dolls, they have been out of stock for over half a year here in the Netherlands, although supposedly part of their permanent line!

Hi dear Sofia, you look fabulous as always, and loved the video, thank you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 What i think? The WG brushes are on the way, i pre-ordered them. Why? I want more synthetic brushes. And my no. 1 reason is not easier cleaning, which is also convenient, my no. 1 reason is, that, around the fude industry, there is still a mist, what happened to smaller animals. Goat/horse, i still prefer good synthetic, but not the biggest problem, but when smaller animals, well, the hairs come from Russia or China to Japan, it's a much bigger chance that these animals, because it's more difficult to catch them, died, well, i dont think we want to know here, we don't know all, how they died, but, that makes me say: stop squirrel etc. Am i gonna dump my beautiful brush collection fude, in the North Sea now, no, that would be a double waste, i just want to think more. That is it, and that is my no. 1 reason for having mostly synthetic brushes in future. What else? The, like you described, most neutral, with the brown colours, Yves Saint Laurent eyeshadow quad, because i love easy fool proof stuff. Further, i swimm in makeup and first look round here on your Channel, if it's really worth it, these new releases. What catches really my eye, the eyeshadow sticks from Chanel, and actually further nothing. Dior is expired more quick nowadays, so i do not know. I must say my WA products stay good, but, for instance my cream bronzer stick from Rare did not, a strange smell. Bit clean beauty perfection tired here, for makeup than, not for skincare. Take care in the stormy weather!!! ❤❤❤❤

No to Lisa Eldridge. I finally got Sourcery lipstick.. it took 2 yrs for it to be available!! Oy! Most of her lipsticks are very good so no need for lip balms
I had 2 LE lip balms. One tasted bad, but the other one tastes good. Idk if i got a bad batch for one or all of that color tastes bad. I have to try to reach out to customer service. But either way, i dont think it is special. I recommend chantecaille lip chic instead.

Oof, this one seems dangerous for my wallet. I'm in on the Chanel shadow sticks- I consider the nude one a staple in my collection and the pink/lilac Dior duo screams my name. I just set up my outdoor space the last couple of days and was this close to purchasing the "normal" sized Diptyque candle but pulled myself back at the last moment. Get the fig, I've had and loved that scent before!
