Shame on the then Punjab Government who failed to recognise the talent of his son and couldn’t provide him two times meal a day and allowed him to end his life.
Even today it didn’t occur to current establishment at least to name a Punjabi establishment after his name or to establish a chair in the university, say Punjabi university or Guru Nanak dev university in his honour. It’s not out of place to mention here that both these universities’ primary Aim is the promotion of Punjabi literature and culture
