Undoubtedly, the Labyrinth is one of the most terrifying places in the entire World of Darkness, not to mention Oblivion, which is completely beyond the comprehension and perception of horror.
Well, I'm looking forward to videos about other games in this universe. All of them are equally rich in lore. It is a pity that Wraith turned out to be not very popular on the channel, but still getting to know other parts of the World of Darkness is no less interesting. Anyway, thanks for a great job.

I still like wraith and in context i might try picking a topic and explaining it from various points of view. Just an idea that came to me

Not to mention that during the Sixth Great Maelstrom, the Labyrinth "grew" and a huge horde of Spectres flooded Stygia, effectively the "End Times" for Wraith: The Oblivion.

Do you think wraith will get a new edition?

@@TheMapleTable considering how White Wolf is redoing the old games, it's possible, if anything a "splat book" for either Mage or Werewolf as Wraiths are a kind of Spirit. I really hope that it gets the full treatment as its own game, though. It deserves at least that much.

Digging the videos. I like to see how the games connect. One thing that was pointed out on Mr. Welch's channel is the Technocrocy and how they would clash with Pentex.

Love the videos. Thank you so much on covering this game as it doesn't get a lot of exposure due to subject matter and popularity. The biggest thing I love about Wraith: the oblivion is its rich and unique lore and you are one of the few people that cover it and break it down into easily digestible content. I know you said that you are not doing a lot of Wraith content, but please continue to keep up the good work.

I treat the labyrinth in wraith as a layer of the labyrinth in werewolf.
I treat oblivion as one aspect of the wyrm.

      @@TheMapleTable absolutely.
Right now the big bad of my Werewolf game are two demons. They're discovering the points of overlap and mutual unintelligibility.
If they decide to "kill" the demon, I suspect they'll be going to the Abyss to try and finish the job. Will need to travel to the Dark Umbra along the way.

9:45 I feel for you, sadly over here in the UK we have a similar problem with aircon, you mention putting AC in and you get a look like you just told the person you eat babies.
In the heatwave we just had in July of 2022 my room was hitting mid 40s Celsius and that’s with the windows open, my PC has been forced off for a week now and two 18 inch fans running 24/7, if I won the lotto ied likely end up building a batcave actually with all the mineshafts running under where I live a bat cave may be easier then I think (we do get news story’s every once in a while of someone’s home falling into a mineshaft that they didn’t know was there.)

Hi bro, this video has been quite cool, it covers a lot of my doubts (wraith and mummy are the only games i haven´t played or studied as much as the others). In the final nights it is revealed that Grandmother is actualy oblivion itself, and as i said it wakes up. And the malfeans (and also wraiths, mummies and other WOD creatures) unite to try to put it at rest again, and in the process several of them "die?(talking about malfeans)". For a context, grandmother is a neverborn, probably the first neverborn, wich are basically eldrich horrors before the gods, "the gods before the gods", Concepts as you said. The "Exalted" were created by the gods to aid in the fight and ultimately kill a neverborn (exalted are stupidly powerful, so that is why you probably can´t play one in modern nights, and are also veeery conected to Hunter: the reckoning), and Grandmother is the first neverborn to be kill, but she was so massive as a concept that she actually "couldn´t die" so it became oblivion itself
Keep the good work, and i hope my little contributions help. If you need some information or a second opinion you can count with me. and if you want and can, sent me a "hi" in a video XD. see you

D&D " Planescape " campaign setting, Elder Elemental Gods/ Greater Titans compose from Elemental energy, for WOD Wraith grandmother just happen to be made from negative energy.

Really good video, and as a couple others have said, it's awesome to see a video about Wraith.
I don't feel that I can say you got anything wrong, but my comprehension of some things differs from yours...
I've never gotten the impression that Oblivion is (or even could be) angry. I will admit, however, that I have always flat out ignored Orpheus entirely, and some of those concepts might have portrayed Oblivion as being angry. I'm not sure how, though. Oblivion is the absence of existence. Anger is a thing, and is therefore antithesis to non-existence.
Also, while the idea that Oblivion negates a soul "ever having existed" is extremely frightening, it doesn't work from a practical point of view. Certainly some famous person, or person who caused famous events must have died and gone to the Underworld, and then subsequently fell to Oblivion. If they cease to ever have existed their fame would disappear, or the event they caused would also cease to exist. This means we wouldn't have any resulting story about them.
Just a couple notions for folks to ponder and comment on if they feel compelled. :)

As my thought on fame and oblivion. We will all be forgotten no matter how far we gone in leaving a mark. Think about this we had some geniuses figuring out fire, agriculture, weapons, the wheel, rope making, writing, and other technologies in the stone age that changed history and at the end we can not remember anything about the inventor of that time. All the dark ages, invasions, reeducations, and errors in history and we lose a lot in the past.

I thought, that technically, stygia and that pocket was still actually a pocket of the Umbra. I mean canonically the Fera and the vamps have been able to access stygiaa, hence the labarynth... Though it's a deeper level.

Not much info about what Grandmother actually is, what it does, where it came from, or when it was first observed. I'm not even clear on whether it came from Wraith or from Orpheus.
