Doesn't the metal (?) part of the handle scratch the teflon surface?

I haven't had any scratching issues with mine but the way she is stacking the saucepans will definitely scratch the coating

The top part where you attach the handle had small/ minimal scratches over time.. but doesn’t affect my cooking. I put cushion in between the pans when storing it.
