What I think what happened is that since he was using Kaiju 2’s gear, the Kaiju inside Kafka (and Kafka himself) saw him as a Kaiju. That’s why it says “Kill Kaiju” and is taking over

I just watched this episode while I was on the toilet and it had me cry in the first few minutes. Then the fucking action kicked in and I had to finish up and watch the rest on my PC, lol. What a fucking ep!

Kikoru’s dad is the type of fighter I think Kafka would’ve been if he didn’t have a Kaiju inside him and he actually bothered to train with the suit.
