Reality is brick is cemented together and that soft tower shouldn't wouldn't stand especially after literally falling into ots back then all the way to the front which would weaken its base more so thus defeat.
the tactics and methods used in this fight were amazing!
the softbody could dodge a lot of the shots that were to hit them by ducking low, as well as fire back many shots due to its cannon catching rigidbodies shots!
rigidbody tried to focus on keeping softbody bouncing so that it couldn't retaliate, but it wasn't ready for the trio of shots smacking them off balance!
truely a great match.
not to mention, softbody bricks' were destructible while rigidbody's weren't, so rigidbody tried to put his balls in the middle of rigidbody bricks so that they could hit multiple times

While Yellow had the accuracy and solid base buff, Purples hidden "No, U!" ability and the general unsteady nature of it made it so it was constantly creating weak points, so the more unstable it became the more lethal it became as well.

Actually, I think that the fact that yellow was made of un connected bricks while purple's bricks were attached to each other made the difference. The more unstable purple got, the more it missed. It actually became less lethal.

Even though purple won, I’m not sure it was balanced. I feel like yellow had a handicap - and still lost, lol.
The entire point of SoftBody is that it is able to absorb & disperse force, thus reducing impact damage, and yet its ‘bricks’ were destructible *and* arbitrarily large. Yellow was also able to immediately fire any shot that made it through the initial sieve, while purple’s went into an additional tumbler inside the cannon.
At least purple had the advantage of returning fire, as well as blocking shots with its cannon.

Actually, it's just the opposite. Purple can't be knocked over at all, since in order to take the tower down Yellow would've had to hit the exact same spot an unreasonable amount of times, whereas Purple could quite literally hit anywhere on the Yellow tower, since it was made of completely loose bricks rather than actually being solid. Bit of a shame, as I think this battle would have been far more interesting had it been properly balanced, but as it stands, Purple had a huge advantage by design.

It's that much of a surprise considering that the SoftBody tower doesn't have to worry about stability. No matter how many chunks the RigidBody takes out, the SoftBody will only collapse when an entire row, or at least all but one block in a row, was taken out. With how flexible the SoftBody is, it's nearly impossible to have that precise aiming necessary to focus that one area. It'd be a fairer fight if the RigidBody wasn't made of bricks, but instead blocks like the SoftBody.
It was totally fair. Violet was losing for the longest time. The shotgun blast at the end was complete and utter luck
It doesn't really matter if you're losing all match when you can afford to lose almost all of yourself before you caactually die.

@@gamerboys7663 soft bodys look like theyre losing, but they really arent. They have way more visible damage but hardbody only needs a small inbalance to fall over, soft body needs to actually break.
@@wabba1960 Doesn't even out, that was the entire point of OP's comment. Purple doesn't have to worry about becoming a noodle, because it'll bounce right back. Purple can literally touch the floor and get back up again.
Furthermore, hitting the purple on the top 80% of its body is a waste of bullets for yellow. Especially the top 20%, where you can't destroy anything, while destabilizing it doesn't matter (as it'll bounce right back.)

Kinda hard to beat purples strategy of being anchored so it can't fall over unless yellow manages to cut it clean in half.
Being wiggly wasn't much of a factor compared to being able to remain upright on a single undamaged base brick.
exactly. It's kind of flawed. In terms of gravity purple would've been lying flat already after being this damaged just shooting into the ground. But that's plot armor for you I guess
When everybody comments about rigidbody and softbody I focused more on the dark, heavy balls. Yellow was so lucky to get a +1 at the very beginning for its heavy ball, which not only increased its chance to duplicate even more heavy balls, but also increased its offensive ability, as the heavy balls destablize (shake) the softbody much more effectively while giving more damage on bricks at the same time. Even in the end yellow has 4 heavy balls while purple only have 2.
However in the later half purple began to show its quantity advantage; it almost have doubled yellow, and with more purple balls stranded in the replication area (+1) it was literally pushing yellow balls away from the +1. The decisive lucky shot purple fired (consecutive shots) was the result of such quantity advantage.

This right here is a work of art, the rollercoaster of emotions for softbody was great, this is a battle of a man who never falls down vs a man who always gets back up, softbody may not have the strength and accuracy of rigidbody, but he has a unique ability that not even the mighty rigidbody has, the power to always get back up no matter what anybody throws at him, that way he achieved the impossible and defeated rigidbody.

I feel like depite winning, purple was entirely at a disadvantage. Its shot ls weren't immediate unlike yellow, and all of yellows shots were automatically aimed at purples tower. Not every shot from purple was guarunteed to be aimed at yellow, and in fact missed a ton towards the end

There are disadvantages to both,
Rigid Tower
CON: has no lateral restraint, every unit is held by friction
PRO: Better cannon aim since cannon is attached to the top and does not move much
Flexible Tower
CON: Cannon wobbles on top and slashes aim performance
PRO: units are held together with springs which helps it's global coherence.
It seemed like when purple bounced all the way off screen it could actually interfere with the balls in the tubes making the speed up to wild speeds so that they very very often got into the +1 compartment, you will see as purple becomes more flexible that it starts accumulating balls at a wildly increased rate as compared to yellow where before they had been pretty even for the most part
Some examples being 10:50 where it literally shoots a ball up the tube and 11:03 where it blocks the tube allowing 3 balls to stack up and collision boost each other so that when they are released two of them go to the +1

It you simulated mechanical shearing when bent to absurd angles, we'd see a different outcome. The only reason why purple survived is because it's joints between components had infinite strength AND elasticity to support itself despite losing so much structural integrity. I mean, look at it, it had two blocks left at the bottom and could still hold itself upright.

Though it is partially equalized I'd say by The fact that a hit isn't guaranteed to Hurt the hard body în return all that much, as it's bricks were only destroyed because they fell off the map and not through being hit meaning that the softbody had to hit it high a decent bit or it May as well not have hit, while the hard body nearly took the cannon off the softbody simply by hitting în random spots constantly. Really it came down not to which type of body either was în this, but to luck, since the hard body got mostly fewer darker balls while the softbody got mostly a larger quantity of normal Lighter balls meaning it was able to just rapid fire until the hard body was knocked over while the hard body could hit hard and really knock around the soft body but it simply didn't hit it enough în a single region to cut it off so although it had the quality it paled în comparison to the quantity of the soft body
