I am been looking at shares with my AustSuper for awhile and have finally decide a 30% Balanced, 35% Int Shares and 35% Aust Shares as a new balanced option
Thanks for the information, I've put 39.99% International share, 30.26% into listed property and 29.75% into Australian shares with Unisuper. I don't want to keep my eggs all in one basket.
I have fund many funds that offer direct investment in ASX shares. But I am really wanting to invest my super in individual shares listed on the S&P 500. Does anybody know a fund that offers this option? As I don't want to set up a SMSF.
Noting ATO SMSF residency rules, I would be most grateful if you could address the topic of SMSF control via POA whilst a trustee moves overseas indefinitely. What are the practical considerations (requirements/constraints) of how the SMSF is managed in this case? Is a family member suitable to hold the POA? What might an absent trustee need to avoid doing (regarding control)?
Thank you Super Guy ----- have you done anything on super CAPS = particularly for opening a pension/income account on retirement - and once you open one can you top it up to the CAP or can you open a 2nd income pension retirement account ???? Thanks
Hi. How are international ETFs treated for tax when you put your fund into pension phase. Does the tax treaty with the US take this into account? Cheers
Many asx international ETF shares are domiciled in Australia, for example, NDQ (Nasdaq), IVV, and 100s of others (domiciled in Oz so no issue with tax). But perhaps you do have US-domiciled ETFs?
As a first home buyer, can I deposit my cash savings into super and then withdrawal to put towards my first home? From my understanding I’ll get a 10-15% bump on my savings - as long as it meets the carry and bring forward rules Thanks!
Hi.. does anyone know, so if you bought some shares with you superfund capital and it made gains and you sold them, how much tax would you be paying on the capital gain/profit? is it only 15% ?
I have SMSF and half of the balance is in direct share investment. Mostly blue chips and accumulate over time, plus reinvestment. Once my fund is in the pension mode, is it true that the franking credit can be claimed, and further increase the yield of the portfolio?
How can i invest into specific stocks? with my superannuation? i was want to invest into a few ETF stocks with high div yield , how can i do this with my super

Well done. I have hostplus, I opted for aus-indexed, and intl-indexed many years ago. Simple, low cost indexing.
You can also select asx shares e.g. ETFs like NDQ, IVV, QUAL etc...within Hostplus. Costs a little more, but (much) higher returns (likely)
I have same fund and same options for 3 years and looks better. Do you mind sharing % of each option? Currently I’m in for 40% int index option.

Yeah, I’m the same mate.

do not think you can do that, best way to do is buy those etf with sp 500 index, direct invest in ivv and vts etc.
What are the best Australian Share ETF’s for a SMSF? VAS?
I have just transferred an overseas pension fund into my newly created SMSF.
How do I now go about investing in index funds for example?

Is it possible to invest in Bitcoin through your Super here in Australia? I notice in the US you can do that now.
No super fund will let you invest directly into bitcon.
@@rc2276yes you can invest in crypto currencies if you have a smsf
It is allowed with a SMSF depending on the Trust Deed and Investment Strategy.
Best investment for retirement is buying your own stocks
I wish I could buy Gold.
you can with a smsf
