    Excellent video Meo! I worked in isolated postings years ago, but never that far north! Great skills from the pilots.

      When you’re in the plane, during the left turn to final, you would swear you’re heading straight into the hillsides. Crazy!

    How are building materials and the necessities of life brought in? Cars, bulldozers, big items?

      By boats during the sealift period from late June to October.

      Most hamlets in Nunavut are located on islands with access to the sea. Even the ones that look inland like Qamani’tuaq (Baker Lake) have access to the Hudson Bay by a river. There are inland hamlets in the Northwest Territories, those are connected by roads.
