Jordan 1 high IS the definition of Jordan brand and should be the foremost silhouette produced. For every seasoned collector, there are an equal amount of new collectors.

goes on sale literally! I don't see why Nike Jordan just lower their retail
prices down 25% for these sneakers but instead they add $5-$10

I’m a good truck owner. If I sold my meals for $10 and sold out immediately and a group of the same guys bought them all constantly and took them a few blocks down and sold them for $75 guess what? I’m making more food and limiting that group of people to a couple meals per day. Unlike Nike I’m also raising my prices bc I see how valuable this food is to others. Nike/Jordan brand is saturating the market so it stays fair to us consumers. It’s very appreciated! Buyers rejoice while re-sellers complain.

Nike just needs to be more creative and maybe pull back on the releases.
The colour ways have so much potential to be better than they are.
I’d rather have five amazing Jordan 1’s with more quantity of them in one year than 160 Jordan 1’s in one year.
We need Jordan 10’s back. We need to cut back on the Jordan 4. We also need to get more creative people into Nike since Nike’s creative team has been not the best with colour ways on all shoes. Unless it’s retro colour ways, they don’t know how to cook something new.

I think you make a interesting point about Caitlyn, but on the flip side we have to keep in mind that her teammates were mediocre at best and that’s no disrespect to them. No hate on them, but it’s easier to play D on her and wear her down since she’s having to play point and create every bucket scoring and passing for her team. It was draining for her and you could see she couldn’t use any energy to play defense herself.
When she gets to the league her teammates are going to be leaps and bounds better and be more on the level of her skill set. She’ll also be able to play off the ball and actually play the 2 guard position. Her shooting and Passing is just something you can’t teach. In transition she’s going to be a nightmare to handle with better athletes and shooters. But it was simply too much responsibility for 1 player to carry a team that hard.
She dropped like 19 in that first quarter of the South Carolina game but couldn’t sustain her energy cause it really was 1 v 5 in that game and when she made a mistake or TO it really was demoralizing for Iowa cuz no one else could take over the game for a short period and let her breath.
I think her rookie year will definitely be a challenge but once she gets a year under her belt she’s going to be a problem.
I think Steph is a good comparison. He was a 1 man show at Davison the same as Caitlyn at Iowa. And when the eff was Iowa or Davison ever known for college basketball? Lol
But point being, that 1 v 5 style wasn’t going to work in the NBA and we all knew it. Steph needed to play with real NBA talent. First couple years he had had to get stronger to deal with the physicality. But once he built up his core strength and Klay and Draymond developed with him? And you had Bogut’s big azz setting screens, Steph became impossible to guard.
You couldn’t just focus on him like you could at Davison. Your head was constantly on a swivel whenever he didn’t have the ball which would open up the easiest shots I’ve ever seen for his teammates cause the defense would get caught Steph watching 👀.
His shooting had entire defensive schemes further out than we’ve ever seen which was opening up the floor even more. You had to start defending close to half court VS Steph and if you played off him even a little or went under a screen you was gonna pay
I think Caitlyn will be something similar in the WNBA once she matures and gains experience.
And oh lord, don’t let her have another shooter like her on the floor with range like Steph got with Klay. That will be a nightmare. Some of the full court transition passes she makes are otherworldly and I think we’ll see a lot of that.
But of course there was going to be TO’s and mistakes like we saw because she had to have the ball 95% of the time. When they tried to take her off ball in the 2nd half verse South Carolina they made a little run but those other guards couldn’t really sustain and play make and Caitlyn had to get back on ball for them to even score.
