Every base was "provided by x, idea given by y" because of his discord was dissecting base designs for his videos. He had a family and career and to say he just uploaded other peoples designs is kind of a lame perspective.

Plus he took credit for a stability bunker design calling it his own creation which has been around years before he even started UA-cam.

For anyone having trouble placing the top half-wall at 7:13 ("too close to another building"), I tried a floor triangle instead of a triangle frame, and it finally worked for me.
Hey man, I'm usually a cave dweller but your base design made me come back to the surface, I have used it 2 wipes and loved it. for everyone having difficulty with the pixel gap, just press and maintain ALT key when doing the first part (so there is no micro offset ;)
oh i see what you mean now at 13:44 at first, i couldnt get the pixel gap for the tc, but then i went to the other side like you suggested if it doesnt work,; and then went back with the twig triangle frames, and it worked that way. it took me a second to realize what you meant, had to problem solve it in my head for a little bit. ok. cool. back on to the practice build. thanks as always gamelightz! seriously, you got some of the best tutorial videos. Built this on a 3x duo, right by outpost. Didn't get raided even once, where all bases around mine did. That vicious barricade/turret ring seems like a good raid deterrent! 😊
Another awesome base build and guide. I have been using the mini chad-shed mansion for my solo wipes, but I am really looking forward to giving this design a go. Building is my favorite aspect of the game, thanks GameLightz for always giving us a humorous, yet detailed guide in all your videos.

Got rust this past week and I love making bunkers (diff game) gonna give this a shot. So far I’ve combined God Bunker with the Horizontal Pixel gap loot room into one 1x2 base.
I love that! Thank you. I do try to remove any redundancies and make sure parts serve multiple functions. It creates bases that are way more technical than the norm, so a bit difficult to build in terms of having to pay attention to detail, but I think it's worth it :)
Liking the funnel walls boss, before i knew they were a thing i used to do them when i messed up external shells. Wasnt on purpose or as useful for sure but ill tell myself that so i can sleep at night. XD Keep up the good work GL

for those who dont know ive tested this out on a build server on console you can upgrade the pixel gaps to hqm if you use the same method in this video and they will still work for some reason. also its easier to acces the pixel gaps with a siren light. also i do not recommend using the vending machine infront of the pixel gap because you dont have console commands to adjust your look radius ive tried it and it is honestly a pain to get this right even on a build server
@@tropic2511 you can do it if you turn your sensitivity all the way down this makes it way easier to do but this makes you vulnerable to other players so either have someone guard u or make sure your areas clear, or if your lazy just skip the pixel gap part and use windows 🤷♂️

Hey Gamelightz, thanks for the design and the wonderful video. I built this base on my last 2 wipes on vanilla and i really loved it. I have some small suggestions tho: the turrets are quite easily to drain because of the funnel wall. Also I miss the bunkers from the grail.. but all in all the best base i‘ve seen so far. Keep up the good work. ✌🏻
Good inputs, I'll keep that in mind. I generally use doors for the turrets so they're not succeptible to draining or griefing, since the turrets are useless when I'm offline anyway, I don't mind them just being closed up. Even better since they may stay there and help me rebuild after the raid

Hi GLightz. I'm currently practicing this build on a build server and running into an issue I can't seem to diagnose. When I initially create the starter, I do as shown in the video and confirm the same as you (I can even see the pixel height difference you mention). The rest of the build goes fine. I took extra special care to socket every single triangle exactly as demonstrated in the video, including ones not explicitly mentioned. I've double and triple checked every socket as well, rebuilding the base several times up until the point I run into this issue. The issue is that a 7:00, when you're carrying out the twig frames for the pixel bunker you're creating, my twig frames lose stability and fall apart before I can build them out to the bunker. When I disable stability on the build server, I get the "Too close to another building" error while trying to place the twig half wall above the twig frame. I've tested and rebuilt, debugged and stability checked everything on the base to no avail for the past few hours, but there's obviously a missing piece here I'm not understanding. If you're familiar with this error, what am I doing wrong?

This is very late but I did have this issue in console and found a long winded solution. I realized that my 1st floor and shooting floor bunkers were working fine except the 2nd floor. When this happened, I connected the triangle from the 1st level and kept building twigs outside the base until I reached the wall outside of the locker. Placing a triangle from outside fixed this. Hope this helps.
Y'oure the best, amazing knowledge for solo. But i Have a suggestion, for upgrade a tiny bit the base maybe. I think about change the pattern of "gatehouse" of the compound and external turrets. Maybe we can build it for have hidden turrets from aloneintokyo. I hope you think about it and grab us to a V2.
And I love mobility chute too, thx for this. Amazing for raid ON. I always try to implement this on the grail and the throne on my wipes. But i expend the cost too much. My dream is this two base with hidden turrets and mobility chute with a accessible cost for solo.
Yep! I want you to improve my bases! That's how I can learn and improve too :) I have an improved version of this base i'm working on too, which, incidentally, includes chutes. The only problem is that it can get a bit expensive because of the 3-way symmetry (as a duo do you really need 3 chutes?), so I'm still working on it. I think it's going to go more towards offline protection and remove a bit of shooting floor.

About the base, exact cause of the symetry chutes can be expensive, i think for solo and duo 1 is good, 2 it's better but enought. And a good system with siren light for jump about the roof is already pretty good. I defend my base on 2 raid on this week and i miss some mobility for going up and down. But the base is already amazing for raid def. Happy to see you're future project and upgrade thx so much man i follow you about years and you enjoy my solo life.@@GameLightz

People don't make enough use of vending machine bunkers. You can build a heli landing site right over top of them! Could add another 45 rockets of distributed loot on your roof!

I would like to know why it is important to do the jumping on the platform and putting two triangles side by side and then join a third one in the middle at the start of the build instead of just joining three triangles normally? It has to do with the pixelgapping method. Watch my most recent video on that (not the console version tutorial tho). It has to do with keeping track which are the raised foundations and which are the low ones :)

SOLUTION: At 7:00 minutes many have stability issues with Triangle Frames. Some have put half walls and it helped enough, it didnt work for me, but full walls did. So build your first half-wall, then triangle frame, then wall. Do this for every triangle, it will improve stability and prevent you from putting the triangle frame in the wrong slot. My pixel bunker works now!
My TC pixel gap works perfectly, 3rd floor having issues, I’ve tried walls, window frames, double door frames, half walls. I can’t get enough stability. Also on the 3rd floor seems like after I place the top half wall, I get the not enough space error and am unable to place the bottom wall. I’ve built this base multiple times on the build server and once last wipe with no problems, not sure what I did different this time.
If the main core pixel gap works, the rest should work. Ceiling placement was my issue on the third floor. I’ve started to build the 3rd floor pixel gap bunker first, using a stabilizing half wall along the side. After the bunker is built I close in the floor. I’m playing on Console and my controller is finicky. Built the whole base twice on the build server today, no issues!
I wish we could do these sexy peaks without the external TC's because most of the time I don't reach that point as a solo, Thank you for the base design!

Raid to TC should cost metal+metal+hqm, or so.

I’ve built this base multiple times on the build server and once last wipe with no problems, not sure what I did different this time.
If the main core pixel gap works, the rest should work. Ceiling placement was my issue on the third floor. I’ve started to build the 3rd floor pixel gap bunker first, using a stabilizing half wall along the side. After the bunker is built I close in the floor. I’m playing on Console and my controller is finicky. Built the whole base twice on the build server today, no issues!
The funnel wall killed 3 poor souls while building too haha.
Interresting build. A base tour could be nice to your video friend.

@@GameLightz happened to me while building with symmetry on sanctuary, TCs stayed after re-placing them though

i’m not sure if anyone has said it yet but the double pixel gap vendy tc is accessible on console because the cursor behavior is a little different than pc

Was really hoping for an integrated oil refinery in something like the grail. Not a fan of compounding so internal ones always are a plus.
I normally build a little refinery 1x1 next to the base
You can definitely integrate one here, or into any base, on the side.
