That's a good question. We are literally letting a Tocchet type player go in Joshua.
Is there a chance to bring home Evander Kane he would add size and strength and he could protect Petey
I don't think there is a chance. He's under contract for the next 2 seasons at $5.125M. We don't have the cap space and then we would have to trade assets for him.

Kane is more likely to take a dumb penalty than protect “Pettey”
Joshua on Pettey’s wing would offer more protection, grit and score just the same.

Sorry but Guentzel is to expensive if we have to spend that kind of money than go for Reinhart or make a trade for Marner
I wonder what Reinhart is going to be asking for contract wise. Marner is making 10.9M so that's a difficult addition. You would have to move a lot of $$$ out to make that work.

i feel like we will not sign guentzel cuz someone will pay him stupid money over 11 mill. the cap gone up and GMs feel the cuffs are off. detroit and LA cleared cap space. buffalo, utah wants to make a splash. carolina wants to keep him...
I'm feeling that way too. It's too much $$$ but Canuck fans are convinced that Guentzel is coming to Van.

Toffoli, yes. I’d rather have Bertuzzi and Joshua over Duchene and Mantha, though. Or maybe we take a crack at Montour and let Myers, Zadorov and Cole walk? I think we need to do whatever we can to trade Mikheyev or one of these players are not possible.
I totally forgot about Duchene! I love that guy. Older but he's very good. And I believe would be affordable.
You raise a good point...everyone is convinced we are bringing Myers back but there might be some better RHD options.
