OK. This is a really cool house. The "grass-crete" walkway, the cantilevered green porch roof, the addition of bold colors to the interior, the variety of furniture forms and styles, all help make this a very inspirational and livable Modernist home.
It has that compact feel of a New York apartment where every square metre is considered with thought but is afforded the personality of an Aussie loft. It feels like home...

It’s giving me multi-storey car park vibes, if I’m honest . I don’t allow shoes in my house but if I lived there I’d have to keep them on. It’s more industrial than luxurious. Not my thing but I definitely can see why people would like it.
This house appears to be very busy, very hard to keep up, and has a very superficial industrial veneer. A proper industrial design doesn't hide the bones with little twiggy and glassy things, it shows off the inherent beauty of the powerful underpinnings and technology.
It's brutalist/industrial but interior designer did a great job softening it a bit with natural woods and leather and fabrics to make it a home vs. a meat-packing plant or something...
@ML Off Road why the dumbest guys are always the first to insult? Here, the architect, himself, says its brutalist. 3:09. Exposed concrete with holes in it, exposed steel frames, etc - all hallmarks of brutalist architecture. It has some Bauhause influences too with windows and furniture and art. It's not mutually exclusive.
