I just see tutors as "super-cards" lol. I don't include them in my card draw count as they are basically a copy of any card in your deck (often the best card). After I build my decks foundation (card draw, ramp, etc.), then I'll add tutors depending on the power level of my group at the time and style of play (combo).
@@KommanderMTG well it kinda depends on the power and narrowness of the tutor right? I personally don't have the best black tutors but very narrow tutors instant/sorcery, land, creatures. And for the lulz I sometimes play unreliable tutors like gamble or signal the clans :)
