Abel Kirui defends his title and dominates in the Men's marathon beating fellow Kenyan Vincent Kipruto by over 2 minutes.
Kirui, you really floored everyone Well done Kenyans. Your dedication to the sport has the world sitting up watching the mighty prowess of the Kenyans.
For the competition, thx for providing the edge needed to take the sport a notch higher.
If I remember correctly in this race Kirui ran the 10k split between 25 and 35 kilometres in around 28.50. That's where he put the lead pack to the sword.
He finished a good 3 minutes ahead of the next guy? Did he take a taxi along the way?
his time seems to stabilize around 2:07. I mean it is probably a bronze metal Olympic time. he better get down to around 2:05 to have a shot to the olympic gold metal in london this summer...
It's the world championships in london in 2017.
