You are the Artist that has deeply inspired me. Trust yourself and the process, if you’re having fun, it’s not work, it’s joy… I only want calm and peacefulness in my life these day, and you are part of that process. So thank you… Meditate/quite your mind, and ask your higher self the troubling questions and feel the ease of that, then calmly feel for the inspirational answers. If you trust the process you will find your centre in all of this. Keep doing what you’re doing. Feel your inspiration, as you get inspired you inspire others and your inspiration spreads around the world. When I don’t know how I’m going to sort an issue out, I ask my higher self, trust I’ll get an answer, and a way will be shown to me. It’s never failed me… Much love & light. In appreciation, Karen Meltcher ☺️💜

Just remember - you're bringing joy to people with handmade notebooks, which makes each one unique. Hopefully you find joy in making them, as well! You've shown people how to make all kinds of notebooks and covers - and introduced me to the various types of paper you use. I had never heard of them! The world will always need notebooks. (I'm old school - I like hard copy books!) I love these softbound notebooks, too! Very pretty!

I also love Rajiv! His videos are amazing and inspire me to craft more! I just found your channel and love watching your videos. I've recently pivoted out of my career after 13 years of schooling and work and am coming to terms with the fact that it just doesn't bring me peace in the way that the arts and crafts have. While I'm scared of this decision and what's next for me, I'm glad that I've found your channel to help me get through it. Thank you so much! 😊

You absolutely inspire me. not only to try bookbinding but also you inspire me as a person and as an artist generally. I am AMAZED at your ability to keep a clean and organized space while you work! I know that darkness you speak of. I'm glad that you are able to work through it and that you are brave enough to share it with us. Bless you. I'm trying not to covet your giant box of fantastic paper! :D Please keep sharing, and enjoy your local show!

I discovered both you and Rajiv at the same time and it was so far my best gift to start this new year. You have taught me to slow down, be friend with silence, focus on the gift that is the present. I am very grateful for all your quiet teachings and just know you have another artist cheering you on on your beautiful journey. No need to doubt, you are very talented! Beautiful tattoo by the way. Cheers from Canada.💌

Thoroughly enjoyed this video! In thinking of artists that have inspired me lately, you are the first to come to mind. After 20+ years as a jewelry artist I was getting bored and looking for new creative outlets. I started painting about 6 years ago (watercolors) and am loving it. While looking at watercolor videos on UA-cam I came across one of yours and was mesmerized! And excited! I could make my own sketchbooks instead of buying mass produced ones! Another artist that has inspired me is lescargot papier. I love that she uses existing book covers from old books for her sketchbooks. So now I’m wanting to make both kinds. Just in the practicing stage at the moment… Thank you!

YOU are my inspiration in your approach to bookmarking. You are a perfectionist and your creations are extraordinary. I will endeavour to produce books in your style. You are a true artist. Thank you for sharing your work. You help me to stay centred and make me happy. I have been much changed by Covid and it’s isolating effects. Watching artists has helped me in my own work. Very best regards to you from South Africa. Happy holidays

Love, love, love your videos. Today’s really spoke to me as I’m just starting to show my craft to the public. Riddled with doubt and anxiety about whether people will like my product enough to want to buy it. So stressful. Rajiv is the best! Discovered him a few months ago. Thank you so much for your videos, keep up the great work!

I'm with you about Rajiv's videos, they're so diverse and I've learned so much. I'm excited he's doing a gofundme to start his own UA-cam channel! But look at you, you just dove right in and are doing it yourself. I understand the apprehension and self doubt, everyone has it. But the darkness, that's a really tough one. I hope the darkness will become lighter and lighter until it has turned into a beacon which will bring you much joy.

I'm totally going trough the same right now, I'm super excited on what I'm doing but once in awhile a "yeah but who's gonna buy it??" thought and fear and doubt comes in, I've been paying a lot more attention when that happens and just take a break, go out in nature and it's like magic how it all goes away. Nature encourage progress all the time, there is no failure in nature... I just saw a video about Hayao Miyazaki's life and what it means to be an artist. I can relate so much and has given me new perspective to really value my skills and how I want to spend my time on this earth just doing what my heart truly wants to experiment and create. Books are lovely too! I tried printing a dot paper on both side but they never match lol.

Another beautiful, peaceful video ☺️ I understand the darkness and it's value in learning to ignore the messages it gives. Ultimately it allows one to understand the darkness and share the tips a techniques for banishing it back to its dark space. Alone while I share the light, where it cannot go. Darkness cannot extinguish the light. ❤️

I really wish I could articulate the fun surprise of it. Anyway, I hope both of them and Rajiv commission work from you next! 🥰 ok get on it universe, thanks!! hehe

I'm sorry but voice over would be so much better. It is difficult to read so much text (I never read the titles, if I want to read I read the book). I'm sorry because I'm very interested in the topic. Also the titles are in cursive that is so uncomfortable to read, too small and going too fast. I'm giving you honest feedback since I value your work.

@@bittermelonbindery it's your channel and you have to grow it however you decide. I'm giving you the kindness of explaining why I've unsubscribed, nothing more. Feedback is important. It's not always positive. I loved your content. It's advertising that I'm avoiding. I don't follow any channel that includes it. Too many choices and that's one way I decide which to subscribe to. There are many ways to grow a channel. I follow those who do so with content, not ads. Best wishes. 👍
