• Pantheon Rise of the F...
Monk point of view while farming Black Rose faction mobs within Halnir Cave. Located in Avendyr's Pass (AVP), Halnir cave is intended for adventurer levels 10 to 20s. As a monk, I'm pulling mobs to camp for the party.
This gameplay video includes information about key mobs and mob skills to watch out for. Video shows group play with a full party of six. I highlight some group mechanics, including invisibility and debuffing mobs to make fights easier. I share the amount of gold/coin that was earned from this farming session.
This is an Early Access video. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for making this. Somehow you managed to capture the magic of the game inside a video.. can't wait to watch your next
Thank you so much for the kind words! MMOs are a passion for those who play them.
Highly recommend not clicking your abilities, bind them and build the muscle memory for 2x the efficiency and reaction time.
Great observation! I should absolutely revisit keybinds. Minimally I need to get my interrupt on a keybind. I started poking skills after muscle memory was working against me. On warrior, interrupt is a normal skill; on monk interrupt is a technique…so I’d have to change my ‘interrupt keybind’ each time switching characters since I can’t slot the skill in the same location across the hotbars.
I’ve never been able to shift+, ctrl+, or alt+ very well; does anyone have any keyboard setups that you find work well?
@@AksuNin I went with Techniques on 1-4, Utility on F1-F6, and Abilties on QERTFG + side mouse buttons. Depending on classes amount of active utility/technique options, I think you could swap it for 1-6 and F1-F4 as well.
@ I recommend having a similar setup for each class for a wow example I always bind Q to kick or counterspell or pummel etc. Best binds 1-5 Shift1-5 q,e,f,g,r,z,x,c and those same ones with shift
If u genuinely believe keybinding gives u 2x reaction time u have another thing coming lol, if u know what does what, u can click them off global cooldown
Thanks for the video, high quality. Comments were good, on screen text blocks were also cool to see. Will keep watching this content if you keep doing it.
I wish I knew what stairs you were at though. Last night crossed the bridge for the first time and almost made it to a camp in the room straight in, but we died.
Check out Shalazam's Pantheon maps. On their website, you can navigate to the Halnir Cave map. The map area you want to pay attention to is on the Upper Area, and the stairs are at coordinates (-92, 12). For reference the bridge you crossed was at coordinates (70, -70). On the way to the stairs, many groups pull to the alcove at (6, -3) until it is clear to move to the steps. Good luck to you!
Thank you for the feedback! Be sure to also watch my 'What I Learned' video covering the Orc Camps in AVP.
Its more dps if you dont use wheel kick and elbow until the burst when the mob runs. The passive only triggers when these abilities are not on cooldown. So you are loosing on alot of extra damage from your basic attack by having them on cd. 20% chance while duel wielding is actually more like 40% so nearly 50% of the time you are getting that extra hit from either wheel kick or elbow. I know its easy to want to just hit all the buttons, but save them for the last bit of burn down, makes for a nice combo
I sometimes do fall prey to hitting skills simply because I’m looking for a skill to use! Your comment is right on and a correct observation. In fact, I frequently hit wheel kick or elbow strike to them immediately think ‘doh, why did I do that!’.
I’m interested how you’re arming your monk. When you say dual wield, what weapons have you found work well. I’ve always been just hand wraps or just bo-staff. I don’t think you can use another weapon in offhand with hand wraps(??). I would really love to learn more about this topic. Thank you!
@@AksuNin I main hand the 1h fist weapon and offhand a club. I can switch based on what debuff i want with opening gap. Now that they buffed staffs its a bit better, but still I like to be able to switch which debuff I want to take advantage of.
Nothing wrong with clicking the buttons, i click with mouse and use keyboard for some.
The way I do it, if you are curious is mouse
Cick for out of combat abilities & during combat, i use keyboard & use my attack skills & do tripple damage with swarm on my summoner
Note to all new players choosing casting classes, choose carpenter or fletcher & tailor to craft cloth gear & make bags you can sell or use as trade commodity
when it comes to editing remove these giant pop up boxes.....they are unnecessary and just annoying
ty for the video , but dude stop clicking the buttons, that's wack. Bind them to key and use keyboard
sadly macros are not currently keybindable
Based on feedback, today I am absolutely trying to get my skills on keybinds! I wish keybinds were stored per character so I can put my interrupt for warrior (is a main skill) and monk (is a technique) on same key without rebinding! Thanks for the feedback, I agree with you!
@@AksuNindon't even worry about it man, clicking really doesn't hurt you lol
I've made the swap to keybinds! You can see my updated gameplay with very little skill clicking on my most recent What I Learned - Ghosts Farm in Halnir Cave video. Now that I'm used to it (change is tough), It does feel better to have keybinds. I do agree that with GCD, it's unlikely to get a multiple increase in damage. It's a setup that will work for my monk, but likely a start over if I try another class. Thanks for the kind words!
@AksuNin awesome, you will soon wonder why you ever spent time clicking each spell.
