YOU are amazing! I taught for over 30 years so I know how important it is to have the skill to teach new concepts. You are an excellent teacher. You are clear, thorough, concise, and have a great voice with enthusiasm. Thanks for being you!
Cathy, that is so creative! A new use for my embossing powder and my wire!! I can't wait to try it. A quick tip on the findings. I pull my findings apart by pushing the opening up and the other down, opposite each other vs apart. I found it's easier to get them lined up when I put them back together!) Thanks for your creativity!!
Ok. These are beautiful. I have put off getting embossing powder and a heat gun but now I want them!! I want to say also that your name and the way you spell it is exactly the way my mama’s name was, she passed away in 1999. I believe she would have loved your project here as much as I am loving it. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Cathy, i never did see your reply, it has it as highlighted, but i never got to see it, anyhow i'm watching your video again today, i really do like this project you've made here, it is very nice & you are a joy to listen too, a great upbeat teacher as well, you speak slowly, you are very fun & kind as well, so i just wanted to thank you for this, i look forward to your next video.
Lovely idea! But if you open the jump rings to the side instead of the way you did it, they stay round and do not deform. It is also easier to close them and makes them stronger as well.
Hi, I've just subscribed. You could use small fishing swivels in place of a safety pin. This would eliminate the item sitting incorrectly and they look good as well.
this is awesome - love it - thanks so much. cant wait to make some - have a ton of ideas of backings for them too keep up the great work - and i agree with barbara - excellent teacher - tyfs
This is an excellent tutorial. I wonder if you could get the same effect using Glossy Accents if you don't have embossing power, I think I'll give it a try. Thank you for sharing.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Your charms are so cute! I have a ton of earring hoop blanks, so I may try this technique but use the premade earring hoops. Fingers crossed....
I thought they were made with resin. So beautiful! I’ll have to try making these. I was wondering if you use your Closed Captions? I have trouble hearing, and when I turn them on, on your videos, they don’t show up. I was hoping you would check please. Thx so much. Love your videos
These are very cool. Such a great idea. I wondered HOW the heck you were going to heat that embossing powder!!! So unique. Love, love, love these. I like to make journal jewelry and dangles. Thx for another fantastic video. Austin,TX USA
I LOVE finding extra uses for my embossing papers... AND more reasons to scavenge small pieces of interesting papers LOL. These are brilliant! Thank you Cathy. New sub
Hello, i enjoyed watching your video, this is a fun idea, that i've never seen it done before, i'll attempt to try this, but i noticed you bent the finding straight out, you should always bend to the side, not straight out, usually this will crack the wire, just wanted to give you a heads up on that, ok, other than that, i like the embossing powder being melted onto the wire, a neat trick.
I absolutely love them. I just found your channel today and I am addicted. I have been binge watching your videos. You are so very creative. Thanks for sharing your creative spirit with us. I am learning so much from you
Thank you, that does look like so much fun; and something even I could do. I'm going to try it! BTW, were you an elementary school teacher? You teach so well, plus you have that long time little kid teacher way of explaining things. My sister and cousins were teachers, you gals all sound the same, lol.

I'm in love with these, ive never used my embossing powder yet, still a learner. Got to have a go of these ❤ thankyou for sharing x
Liquid skin is like GOLD!😄 These are such a great idea! I wonder if we could make them without using the glue. It would be kinda tricky
🥰💐
Thank you, that does look like so much fun; and something even I could do. I'm going to try it! BTW, were you an elementary school teacher? You teach so well, plus you have that long time little kid teacher way of explaining things. My sister and cousins were teachers, you gals all sound the same, lol.
Dianne, No not an elementary school teacher, but a floral design lab teacher at a university. 💐🥰
A jump ring.
😉
These are lovely. How did the back of these charms turn out? I think I might want to add a little embossing powder to the back also?! ☺♥
Joanoarc, That’s a great idea, I used a gold pin on the pack. 💐🥰
Do. You have links for where you bought the safety pins and bulb pins along with the other findings
Lynn, I’m sorry I bought them years ago. I suggest going to Amazon and type in what your looking for and go from there. 💐🥰
stunning how much in materieals makes one?
Very little materials because they are about the size of a quarter. 💐🥰
Great idea. Will it work with coloured embossing powder?
💐🥰
Safety pin!!
🥰💐
Hi Cathy is that white or clear embossing powder you use?
Lovely. What kind wax are you using
Miasmaintox, Not sure how you got wax? It’s glossy accents. 💐🥰
@@CathysGardenllcI thought Glossy Accents was liquid? I though you used embossing powder. 😂😂
Would be easier and tidier
to open your jump rings the other way
💐🥰
How strong are the charms? will they break easily?
Manjeet, We’ll they don’t fall apart but if you try to bend them they will break. Sorry that’s really the beast I can explain. 💐🥰
Just found this video. I like your idea. Is there anything else one can use besides embossing powder? I don't have any. Thanks.
Kathy, not sure maybe glossy accents? It’s worth a try if you have some. 🥰💐
I don't have those either. I'll experiment and see what I come up with. Thanks.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
💐🥰
Jump rings. I write forgettable words on an index card before making a video so I can refer to my list when my brain gets foggy
💐🥰
