Thank you. I had to include the wheel tracks for the doubters who are convinced it’s a concrete runway from previous comments on a previous video. Enjoyed your red arrows vid over beachy head btw👌
Pretty sweet! Just think.... the mighty C-130 is still in service after all these years. I find it surprising that no other nation felt the need for such a diverse, simple, cost-effective platform that I am aware of. I will gladly stand corrected if I'm wrong about that. I love that Bus though! So cool!
Fantastic footage again Dafydd, just the ticket for a gloomy Monday morning in lockdown part2, was that this last week? I noticed an A400M around the Pembery Sands area on the tracker. Wish I could have been there. 👍👏👏
Thanks Andy, we’re out of lockdown here but the weather is too bad to go anywhere🤮. It was about 8 weeks back and first real outing for my latest camera. They do seem to be showing in Flightradar24 these days when at pembrey.
I can vouch for the new camera, it works a treat Dafydd 👍 especially in your hands. I'm finding that ADS-B website is better for mil aircraft than the flightradar app. It would be great to be able to find out in advance when they are likely to be there🤔🙄👍 Stay safe and keep the good work coming Dafydd 👏👏🌈
Cool. I watched these guys doing practice approaches earlier in the year - not sure if they actually landed that time (I was following on FR24 and could just see it from my house in the distance).
I'd be more impressed if it stopped and dropped a load of troops or cargo before continuing. I'd like to see it manage to overcome the extra weight and friction to it's landing gear from having sunk in the sand. I'm sure it could, but it'd be an interesting test rathrr than just an empty aircraft with no cargo onboard.
These are early stage tests for the A400. No doubt they will progress to more weight and objectives in the future. I’ll Make sure I’m there to catch it for you ✈️✈️😉 Appreciate you watching
Excellent Vid Daffydd. I was down Pembrey mid Sept. Wish I had seen this.👍👍👍
Great Video, Great Pilots, Great Machine the perfect combination. Love the shot of the tire tracks on turn around, very unique.
Thank you 👍
The underwing camera angle worked out nicely, loved those tracks in the sand as well

You'd think the engines would be ingesting a ton of sand.
Yet another good reason to land on a beach. Test, test, test and test again.
Wow amazing footage as always brother so cool 😎 👍🇨🇦
Thanks Dan
Excelente video. 😀😀
Thank you sir 😎👍
Awesome video, the props look mad with the frame rate.
Thanks Robert. The frAme rate on the go pro is different to the Panasonic
Good footage.
Thanks 😎👍
Now that’s a big Schwartz! 💯🤠
Great footage. How do you find out when they're landing?
Intéressant à voir
Beautiful, thanks.
Thanks Tom 👍
The Dutch airforce is also going to buy the a400m. I can.t wait to see it fly around EINDHOVEN airport.
When the Queen wants freshly dug clams the RAF is right on it!
Class 🤠🤠👍
Fantastic footage Dafydd ! Nice close up from GoPro camera
Thanks topfelya. Hope your well my friend 😎👍
Two of my very favourite UA-cam people in the same place 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

@@DafyddPhillips you always seem to be in the right place at the right time! What's your secret ?
How did you manage to get a camera under the plane, did the RAF give you special access?
It was spiked into the sand before the plane arrived under the supervision of one of the personnel
@@DafyddPhillips Ahh, I wondered how you did that! Great video from that position.

They have been popping up on Flightradar24 lately. 👍
Absolutely awesome Dafydd😜where was that, Pendine?
Pembrey Pete. Hope your all well?
@@DafyddPhillips yes thanks Dafydd, all good here. Hope you are all good too. Have you got much work on? Stay safe👍😁
Awesome 🙌
It really is a step up from the C130.
Great ... was it a training exercise? Can the RAF not afford the nearby Airport charges!?
Yes a training exercise. At £40 per landing in the local airport it’s cheaper to just drop her in the Beach 🤠👍
@@DafyddPhillips But they still sent 3 Fire Tenders ... £400?

I’ll bet the maintenance crew was digging out sand for weeks!
And shells 🤠
Can't they drive to the beach like everyone else
Given the option I think I’d fly in too 🏄🏽♂️🏖😎
@@DafyddPhillips It was C130s doing this when I wore a blue suit.
