Hi Luciano, yes you can do it. In summer time compound settling faster. Around 30 minutes. You can use barrel and mix 2-3 bags in one time. I don’t know how many bags you have to put one, but for 15 bags you need 5 times mixing - around 20-25 min and then roll it out. I have many videos how to do it. Thanks

Thanks really useful video. I noticed that many self levellers are flexible so that you can use them over plywood floors. I want to use self leveller over a concrete subfloor though, so should I choose a non-flexible kind of leveller? I don't want the floor to be flexing and moving when I walk on it, the leveller will be quite deep at one end 40mm.

I am very excited reading about bubbles. How the bubbles can affect the level of the subfloor. I f you have a bubbles you removing it with spike roller. Also bubbles coming from subfloor if you don’t put primer properly. If bubbles coming when you level surface it’s means you not locked with primer surface and water can absorbing into.

@@mariamanago4126 Typically you need a primer for the bond. However, if the self leveling product has an integral bonding agent in it, a primer may not be needed. The purpose of the primer is to act as a bonding agent between the existing substrate and the new self leveling compound, to the best of my knowledge. I don't know enough about the many different products on the market, so I am not sure if there is a self leveling product with a bonding agent already pre-mixed.

To anyone watching this video, Please do not add more than 500 ml or 1/2 liter than what's recommended because you're messing with the formula. If they wanted you to add more water to it it would say it on the label.
Also, 1 extra liter is an additional 20% extra than what's recommended, that is too much for any formula to deviate from the recommended mix. Also this will increase chances of failure or potential for trouble spots because if the floor is too deep on one side the water ratio will be messed up and you will experience spot failures that can lead to full-on failure.
if you want to push the limits the most you should go is 10% which is half a liter. In general regardless of what the mix is extra10% percent is pretty tolerated as opposed to 20%.... Use logic!
And yes I'm a professional licensed installer of flooring and leveling

Great test, the only thing I could add would be to measure a standard volume of self leveller and place it centrally to see the ease with which it levels out naturally …
… and I hope the wife leant beat you too bunch for wrecking her scales and mixer … 😂😂😂
