Since you are asking for Rammstein recommendations… First of, a little tip: if the video you‘re reacting to comes from the official Rammstein channel, make sure to pause enough during the reaction. Did you check out any of the videos of the 2019 Stadium Tour at "Rammstein Live By TheKeyboardfucker" (a pun on the title of Flake Lorenz's autobiography “Der Tastenficker - An was ich mich so erinnern kann”) ?? They are pro-shot and anamorphic format. And of course there is the new stage set-up that you should know was so amazing that the band released a time-lapse video of its construction that itself has over 10 million views: ua-cam.com/video/JgGuRKgvWQ4/v-deo.html. And of course the new stage show is so brilliant that it was shortlisted for the prestigious "Live Performance of the Year Award" for 2020 (they didn't win but came close), a rare honor for a heavy-metal band! More to the point, a theory of mine: I believe I could make a strong case that at least some of the footage in the KBF videos came from persons associated with the band. Some of the views are at stage level, and some contain drone footage from above the stadium. Particularly for the former, I submit that if you look carefully at some of the footage from "Rammstein" ua-cam.com/video/6IuGu_-K7gQ/v-deo.html, or "Deutschland" (blocked on UA-cam but he has a link to it at ua-cam.com/video/GHg05kuEsRY/v-deo.html), some of the views, e.g. of Christoph Schneider, are simply too good to be "fan footage"!?? Probably the best band I saw live, each song is a performance. Some are fun, some are crazy, some are creepy, always amazing. I managed to convince my girlfriend to come with me even if she didn't like so much the songs, telling her she would not regret because of the show. She's now a fan :-)

Rammstein is playing a classic "Industrial Metal" style. A 50-50 mix of synthesizers and hard metal guitarrs. A big part of the German history in one video. The black woman as Germania. Germania is the mother of the German nation. It isn't and wasn't a Goddess or Joan of Arc. The glass coffin: It is Little Snow White from the Grimm-fairytales....and from their own video "Sonne". Only with black skin and in space. The piano song at the end is the song "Sonne", too. The battle of the Teutoburg forrest against the Romans (and Rammstein as Roman soldiers and Germans alike). That battle is of ABSOLUTE importance for the German history. The hanged bodies in the trees were the beaten Roman soldiers, who were gruesome sacrificed to the Germanic gods...and were partly nailed to the trees. The Varus-(Teutoburg)-Battle was already in 9 AD. In 16 AD were the vengeance campaigns of Emperor Germanicus. Therefore we see here the arrival of the Roman troops of Germanicus and they are watching their dead comrades hanging in the trees or getting their heads chopped off (for nailing them to the trees). In reality the Romans under Germanicus found only the bones of the Varus army in the various ways they were slaughtered, sacrificed and displayed at the trees. Slaves were liberated even decades after the battle. After the scenes with the Romans we saw the Hindenburg Zeppelin disaster (the burning Zeppelin in the background). The moustaches and clothing from the fight scene are from WWI and post WWI years. From the working class people in WWI and the roaring 20's. In the WWII years later on this kind of big bushy moustache was already out of fashion. The V2 rocket (first manmade object in space) as technical triumph of the German spirit...and at the same time the killing of the concentration camp prisoners in the bunker factories below the mountains during the production of that rocket. This scene in the video could be a representation of a very specific concentration camp. It was "Mittelbau-Dora" below the Kohnstein mountain. A mixture between a big, huge bunker factory for V1 and V2 rockets and a concentration camp. The concentration camp inmates had several different markings for different kinds of convicts and their "crimes" sown to their chests, like it was in reality, too. A pink triangle for homosexuals, the star of David for Jews and two of them were marked with the double-triangles for Jehovas Whitnesses. The book burnings of the Nazis and the burning of the witches of the church. In the same scene with the book burning there is EVEN MORE going on. The cooperation of the church with the Nazis, when the priest with the cross embraces the Nazi SA-man. The scene with the sign with the Hammer and a pair of compasses in a circle of wheat is the sign of the GDR (DDR). The socialst German state in the east that existed before the German reunification. Therefore it was Karl Marx in the background in the scene with the tank (not the scene at the concentration camp).
The scene with Rammstein wielding guns (the pumpgun) and taking Germania hostage was about leftwing terrorism of the 1970's. The terrorists were called the RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion). My interpretation of the red scanner-like beams: There are two different kinds of beams. The massive straight red light beam that goes up into the heavens AND there were those smaller, thinner "scanner" beams. Aliens (or humans from the future) are scanning the whole German history. Like some real scientists are scanning and excarvating ancient Mexican or Egyptian statues, for example. The massive red light beam is the red ribbon of time that ties together all the historical events.

Sonne is so extraordinarily great song for something that was actually written under a contract as an entrance song for a boxer 😃 Amazing mix of ultra-heavy verses and magical, soft chorus ❤ And then the bridge with just guitars and drums, so powerful! Nowadays "Sonne" live is the most explosive show one could imagine - I love it every time I go to their concerts! Oh, I forgot to add that this was written for Ukrainian heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (Till counts down the knocked out opponent), but either he or his promoter thought it was too hard. Today Vitaly has an even more badarse job. He is the mayor of Kyiv.
This song was made for boxer Vitali Klitschko but was rejected since it was "too heavy". It was named Klitschko at the time but then was changed to Sonne and then released on their 2001 album "Mutter" (Mother). During their little breakdown where the guitars lay out and Till sings "Hier kommt die Sonne" (Here comes the sun), the guitarist count from 1 to 4 and then eventually 1 - 9, it reminds me of when a boxer knocks someone down and then you'd count to 10 for them to get back on their feet or the match is over and by knockout. Such creativeness I'd say.
Somehow, I've always felt this to be a deeply emotional song. I did search for lyrics in English but they aren't reliable because they change from site to site. I have absolutely no idea what Till is singing about, but it deeply makes me feel good. Kind regards, stay safe and healthy.

You should give the video of this song a shot. Their high production value carries over into their videos as well. Their video for Sonne is a very original take on Snow White, with the band being the dwarves. Their video to Ohne Dich is also awesome, it's like a short film. And thank you for choosing a different live show other than Paris. I can't handle the editing of that concert, too many quick cutting edits. Check out their song Mein Teil or Amerika from their Volkerball concert. Or any concert except the Paris one. Lol. Keep up the good listening!
4:01 when it comes to Rammstein concerts, just two things. One - if you want to see them in the US (they'll be there in 2022, if my information is correct), you'll better be quick. They sold out Madison Square Garden (slightly above 75,000 tickets) within 20 minutes. Two: if you're in the front line of the concert, sweat propably won't be the only thing you're covered in after the show is over.

It is a politically charged song, taking aim at early allegations by the media of Nazism against the band and saying they are on the right-wing. In the song, they present themselves as on the left-wing and not the right-wing. I was hearing some technical issues, like the lead guitar barely in the mix and that sort of thing. I remember them sounded better than this! Their studio tracks are great. Blue Monday is their most recognized, but I'd say Dissention is my favorite track from Orgy.

They easily qualify as one of the greatest live shows you will see. I've seen them 5 or 6 times now and they are exceptional. Almost guaranteed to come out with a sun tan! A word of warning, if you get a run of requests for Buch Dich live, prepare yourself!!! It's pretty graphic.
Hi Sky! I'm sorry to be critical and have to dump a bit on some of the other commenters. Unfortunately some Rammstein commenters are not like Nightwish commenters. Many of the Nightwish commenters know what they are talking about, and make good suggestions. But many of the suggestions here I can't agree with. The recommendations for using live performances is correct, but I can't agree with the specific videos suggested below. The problem is that with each concert tour, Rammstein have steadily elaborated their stage and performance, so the most recent tour, of 2019, bears no resemblance to their earlier shows (which comprise almost all of the recommendations and links I see below here). I would like to take a minute to explain the significance of their most recent tour. For their "2019 Stadium Tour” Rammstein constructed one of the largest stages ever used for a musical show, indoors or outdoors (stages that large can only be accommodated outdoors anyway). It is just larger than Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” Stadium Tour (I'm actually a bit of a "Swiftie" myself): the width of a football field and six stories high, and a bit larger than either U2’s stage used for their 2009-2011 world tour, the Rolling Stones “No Filter” 2019 tour, or the 2015 AC/DC tour. (Taylor’s shows are run by "Silent House Productions" out of Burbank, California. Rammstein’s shows are run by "Solotech" out of Montreal, "Stageco" out of Belgium, and "WIcreations" out of Germany. Stageco and WIcreations also worked the recent Rolling Stones "No Filter" tour, as well as the U2- 2009 “360 Claw” tour). The Rammstein 2019 tour was the second highest grossing tour in the world of non-English language acts, behind only Korean “K-pop” band “BTS”. In Europe they were just behind Metallica and Ed Sheeran in total receipts: Sheeran; $147.63 million; Metallica $135.56 million; Rammstein; $131.26 million. First of, a little tip: if the video you‘re reacting to comes from the official Rammstein channel, make sure to pause enough during the reaction. Did you check out any of the videos of the 2019 Stadium Tour at "Rammstein Live By TheKeyboardfucker" (a pun on the title of Flake Lorenz's autobiography “Der Tastenficker - An was ich mich so erinnern kann”) ?? They are pro-shot and anamorphic format. And of course there is the new stage set-up that you should know was so amazing that the band released a time-lapse video of its construction that itself has over 10 million views: ua-cam.com/video/JgGuRKgvWQ4/v-deo.html. And of course the new stage show is so brilliant that it was shortlisted for the prestigious "Live Performance of the Year Award" for 2020 (they didn't win but came close), a rare honor for a heavy-metal band!
More to the point, a theory of mine: I believe I could make a strong case that at least some of the footage in the KBF videos came from persons associated with the band. Some of the views are at stage level, and some contain drone footage from above the stadium. Particularly for the former, I submit that if you look carefully at some of the footage from "Rammstein" ua-cam.com/video/6IuGu_-K7gQ/v-deo.html, or "Deutschland" (blocked on UA-cam but he has a link to it at ua-cam.com/video/GHg05kuEsRY/v-deo.html), some of the views, e.g. of Christoph Schneider, are simply too good to be "fan footage"!?? These videos were all blocked when they came out, but have been allowed to stay up for some months now (KBF has had ongoing discussions with the band over this). Rammstein is playing a classic "Industrial Metal" style. A 50-50 mix of synthesizers and hard metal guitarrs.
A big part of the German history in one video. The black woman as Germania. Germania is the mother of the German nation. It isn't and wasn't a Goddess or Joan of Arc.
The glass coffin: It is Little Snow White from the Grimm-fairytales....and from their own video "Sonne". Only with black skin and in space. The piano song at the end is the song "Sonne", too.
The battle of the Teutoburg forrest against the Romans (and Rammstein as Roman soldiers and Germans alike).
That battle is of ABSOLUTE importance for the German history.
The hanged bodies in the trees were the beaten Roman soldiers, who were gruesome sacrificed to the Germanic gods...and were partly nailed to the trees.
The Varus-(Teutoburg)-Battle was already in 9 AD. In 16 AD were the vengeance campaigns of Emperor Germanicus. Therefore we see here the arrival of the Roman troops of Germanicus and they are watching their dead comrades hanging in the trees or getting their heads chopped off (for nailing them to the trees).
In reality the Romans under Germanicus found only the bones of the Varus army in the various ways they were slaughtered, sacrificed and displayed at the trees. Slaves were liberated even decades after the battle.
After the scenes with the Romans we saw the Hindenburg Zeppelin disaster (the burning Zeppelin in the background).
The moustaches and clothing from the fight scene are from WWI and post WWI years. From the working class people in WWI and the roaring 20's. In the WWII years later on this kind of big bushy moustache was already out of fashion.
The V2 rocket (first manmade object in space) as technical triumph of the German spirit...and at the same time the killing of the concentration camp prisoners in the bunker factories below the mountains during the production of that rocket.
This scene in the video could be a representation of a very specific concentration camp. It was "Mittelbau-Dora" below the Kohnstein mountain.
A mixture between a big, huge bunker factory for V1 and V2 rockets and a concentration camp.
The concentration camp inmates had several different markings for different kinds of convicts and their "crimes" sown to their chests, like it was in reality, too. A pink triangle for homosexuals, the star of David for Jews and two of them were marked with the double-triangles for Jehovas Whitnesses.
The book burnings of the Nazis and the burning of the witches of the church. In the same scene with the book burning there is EVEN MORE going on. The cooperation of the church with the Nazis, when the priest with the cross embraces the Nazi SA-man.
The scene with the sign with the Hammer and a pair of compasses in a circle of wheat is the sign of the GDR (DDR). The socialst German state in the east that existed before the German reunification.
Therefore it was Karl Marx in the background in the scene with the tank (not the scene at the concentration camp).
The scene with Rammstein wielding guns (the pumpgun) and taking Germania hostage was about leftwing terrorism of the 1970's. The terrorists were called the RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion).
My interpretation of the red scanner-like beams: There are two different kinds of beams. The massive straight red light beam that goes up into the heavens AND there were those smaller, thinner "scanner" beams.
Aliens (or humans from the future) are scanning the whole German history. Like some real scientists are scanning and excarvating ancient Mexican or Egyptian statues, for example.
The massive red light beam is the red ribbon of time that ties together all the historical events.

Oh, I forgot to add that this was written for Ukrainian heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (Till counts down the knocked out opponent), but either he or his promoter thought it was too hard.
Today Vitaly has an even more badarse job. He is the mayor of Kyiv.
This song was made for boxer Vitali Klitschko but was rejected since it was "too heavy". It was named Klitschko at the time but then was changed to Sonne and then released on their 2001 album "Mutter" (Mother). During their little breakdown where the guitars lay out and Till sings "Hier kommt die Sonne" (Here comes the sun), the guitarist count from 1 to 4 and then eventually 1 - 9, it reminds me of when a boxer knocks someone down and then you'd count to 10 for them to get back on their feet or the match is over and by knockout. Such creativeness I'd say.

You should give the video of this song a shot. Their high production value carries over into their videos as well. Their video for Sonne is a very original take on Snow White, with the band being the dwarves. Their video to Ohne Dich is also awesome, it's like a short film. And thank you for choosing a different live show other than Paris. I can't handle the editing of that concert, too many quick cutting edits. 4:01 when it comes to Rammstein concerts, just two things. One - if you want to see them in the US (they'll be there in 2022, if my information is correct), you'll better be quick. They sold out Madison Square Garden (slightly above 75,000 tickets) within 20 minutes. Two: if you're in the front line of the concert, sweat propably won't be the only thing you're covered in after the show is over.

It is a politically charged song, taking aim at early allegations by the media of Nazism against the band and saying they are on the right-wing. In the song, they present themselves as on the left-wing and not the right-wing. Hi Sky! I'm sorry to be critical and have to dump a bit on some of the other commenters. Unfortunately some Rammstein commenters are not like Nightwish commenters. Many of the Nightwish commenters know what they are talking about, and make good suggestions. But many of the suggestions here I can't agree with. The recommendations for using live performances is correct, but I can't agree with the specific videos suggested below. The problem is that with each concert tour, Rammstein have steadily elaborated their stage and performance, so the most recent tour, of 2019, bears no resemblance to their earlier shows (which comprise almost all of the recommendations and links I see below here). I would like to take a minute to explain the significance of their most recent tour.
For their "2019 Stadium Tour” Rammstein constructed one of the largest stages ever used for a musical show, indoors or outdoors (stages that large can only be accommodated outdoors anyway). It is just larger than Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” Stadium Tour (I'm actually a bit of a "Swiftie" myself): the width of a football field and six stories high, and a bit larger than either U2’s stage used for their 2009-2011 world tour, the Rolling Stones “No Filter” 2019 tour, or the 2015 AC/DC tour. (Taylor’s shows are run by "Silent House Productions" out of Burbank, California. Rammstein’s shows are run by "Solotech" out of Montreal, "Stageco" out of Belgium, and "WIcreations" out of Germany. Stageco and WIcreations also worked the recent Rolling Stones "No Filter" tour, as well as the U2- 2009 “360 Claw” tour).
The Rammstein 2019 tour was the second highest grossing tour in the world of non-English language acts, behind only Korean “K-pop” band “BTS”. In Europe they were just behind Metallica and Ed Sheeran in total receipts: Sheeran; $147.63 million; Metallica $135.56 million; Rammstein; $131.26 million. Despite only playing 31 shows in Europe, for the 2019 world-wide all-languages category of “Rock Groups”, they were #3 behind only the Rolling Stones and Metallica, and in front of: Fleetwood Mac, KISS, Bon Jovi, U2, and the Eagles (in that order), and of all musical genres in all languages world wide, 4th in the world after only the above three “Rock” groups plus BTS, and world wide were ahead of:
-- all country performers (#1 Garth Brooks $78.29 million; #2 Eric Church $70.67 million; #3 Florida Georgia Line $52.43 million, and #4 Carrie Underwood $51.86 million);
-- all “Pop” groups (#2 Arashi $115.35 million; #3 Jonas Brothers $109.87 million; #4 Backstreet Boys $101.36 million) and
-- all “Hip Hop” groups: (#1; Eminem $42.82 million; #2 Drake $33.88 million, etc.).
As a result of its success, the Rammstein Stadium Tour was shortlisted for the *Total Productions International* trade association group’s prestigious *“Live Production of the Year 2020 Award”* . Presented in London, England, February 24, 2020 (1,700 in attendance; Black Tie only), the annual awards event recognized excellence in all facets of concert production, including stage design, stage lighting, sound quality, electrical power, crowd security, transportation technology, as well as the individial managers and management companies of each of the tours. The other nominees for Production of the Year were the Chemical Brothers, Marco Borsato, Muse, Stormzy, and Take That. The award ultimately was won by Stormzy, headlining “The Glastonbury Show”, June 28, 2019 (audience of approx. 135,000).

Finally, the whole erection of the stage was considered such an elaborate achievement that the band released a time-lapse video just of the stage construction. It takes six days to fully complete the work. It was the set up they did for one of their first shows, at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, Dresden, Germany, June 12, 2019. Which videos to watch of the tour takes some explaining. There is a group of professional photographers in Europe who are followers of the band. They took pro-level videos of the concerts and then edited them on professional editing equipment. Some of the videos contained footage taken from stage level, presumably from persons associated with the band, and some contain drone footage from above the stadiums, again probably with consent of the band. The original source I found ("RLR -- Rammstein Live Recordings") has since had all but 2 of his 2019 Tour videos taken down on UA-cam. The current source I use was cancelled last summer, but some months ago the band agreed to let him come back up on UA-cam to broadcast the videos. I suspect this is because the band planned, but never completed, their own live video release, and with Covid shutting things down for so long, they eventually just said "to hell with it", and lets let the people watch the show. The current source goes by the name of “Rammstein Live By TheKeyboardfucker”. It is a English-language pun on a German book title, the autobiography written by the keyboard player for Rammstein, Flake Lorenz. The actual title (in German) is “Der Tastenficker - An was ich mich so erinnern kann”. The book is 352 pages and was published by Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf on March 16th, 2015. It is available at the Rammstein Shop for 14.99 Euros. Some links to his videos are:

If you can't get it up for a review however I would strongly recommend looking at them with friends when you are on your own. Rammstein is the best live band on earth by fare. When it comes to showmanship and Pyro no band in the world can cope with Rammstein. Also the music and the lyrics stand for itsself.
