He was out being reckless with his own life because that's what it takes to make him happy. Yes, that one family is really really really cool, perhaps the coolest family, but notice how when he stepped out of the car he made sure the biker was ok, picked his bike up. He didn't even check his car. That made some ninjas cut onions near me :(
