How far can I get from Newry Harbour in 1 hour? - SCR Challenges

- In this video, I tried to get as far from Newry Harbour as possible in under 1 hour in SCR (Also known as Stepford County Railway) in Roblox!
I have done this challenge with @Totne
Rules:
- We can not walk from one station to another
- We can not request trains or request someone else to request a train for us
- If a train despawns, we can teleport to the nearest station
- If a collaborator gets left at a station, I have to get off at the next station and either go back to the station the collaborator is stranded in or wait for the collaborator to arrive at the station I am in
- We can not share our location with anyone in the server
- Subscribers are not allowed to help us by driving a train just for us

As someone who’s always had their render distance set to very low, I can’t believe how much detail I’ve been missing out on 😭
Yeah I recently got a good enough PC to run max render distance and I had no idea there was so much scenery.
After seeing the long series of these videos, SCR would benefit from simulation trains that roam around making the server feel busy ❤
I did the Newry Harbour - Farleigh route a couple of times last year, as you can say now.
Meanwhile, I have purchased Class 360, R040, and R009, with Class 508 and HST Buffer as the next two targets.
Edit: 9:01 And I have done Class 68 and 360 on the noob route too; with the latter I made chains from SV via LC, LW and Edgemead to Llyn - without skipping any stations.

I prefer R009 Stepford Victoria to Edgemead over R045 Stepford Victoria to Leighton City because R009 gets higher priority and skips some stations, making it faster.
Expectation: “Sitting in Newry Harbour for 1 Hour” (in Newry video)
Reality: Newry Harbour only needs a 10-minute wait while Newry needs *half an hour*

Lol, I still find it very surprising that I was able to get a train out of Newry Harbour faster compared to Newry, even though Newry Harbour is way less busy

Theres so many people driving class 68 is because it got meshed recently and it (and the class 444) is the only train can drive the longest route in SCR

I have a challenge suggestion. Altho it isnt great i have high hopes for the channel so ill write it anyway. Its called the arrival and departure challenge and you will need a parter/rival. One of you will spawn at T2 or AC and the otherone at SC. The objective for the one of you at SC is to get to T1 or T2 before the other one reaches leighton city. If the server is crowded it will be a short challenge but i think it would be fun to watch

100 minutes sounds like a long time to be recording at once...

Maybe in the future
Idea:Try to do the same challenge, but in legacy edition (Modded by Me (So it works and looks good).
But not much people drive in legacy edition, so I won't get very far without requesting trains...
@@stepfordzone But only if we have enough advertising to fill up the server that can fit 700/0.7k* people at once.
*The sever/your computer may lag a lot (you probably wouldn’t get more than 30 FPS most of the time (unless playing with the RTX4090)(I play on the RTX3050 and most of the time I won’t even get more than 30 FPS and dipping down to 1 FPS when it’s loading)) and also this is a modded version of the legacy edition I modified the game due to trains not working (the game fixes it) and for better graphics quality in the game. And also TM made a video on the original legacy edition game.

I have a intresting idea you could have done to get away from Newery
First get a express to Leighton city if possible then try to get a connect train to Stepford central then get a connect to Morganstown to get a airlink if theres one avaliable to Terminal 3 or 2. And if not get a train back to Stepford central to probally Aiport Central.

You were the most luckiest on this challenge (Not Talking about the "Escaping Llyn" considering you escaped Newry Harbour, one of the most least used Station in SCR!)
One time i was joined to random SCR server and in that server was youtuber and train was very very busy i think over 20 passengers

I would say Leighton Stepford Road is further than Newry Harbour than Westwyvern or Llyn By The Sea.
If you check the track map, Llyn is actually further from Newry than Leighton

And how do you know how many miles you traveled?
I just screenshotted the Newry Harbour - Benton route from the SCR waterline map and the Benton - Westwyvern route from the SCR connect map and edited them together
To check how much miles I travelled, I use the SCR wiki to find out the distance between 2 stations and then I add up all the distances together to find the total distance travelled
