I am one of the builders. The interior wood detail (stairs, trim) is all avalanche-killed Douglas Fir from the Silverton, Colorado area that a local miller in Silverton (Rusty) sold to me for next to nothing as it was secondary and had imperfections. Much of the other wood is 1930s-era tongue-and-groove pulled from an older house I owned in Prescott. I am building another tiny house at my warehouse in Prescott, Arizona. If interested let me know. It takes considerable time and effort to source reclaimed materials. Lots of time pulling out nails, cutting to size, sanding, etc. As a builder, it's actually more expensive when you add in your time to use reclaimed materials like this, contrary to what many people believe. :)

I advise she move her fire extinguisher away from the area where the most likely place for a fire will be among all the electrical wires of her solar system.
Love the reclaimed wood. You say you like being minimalist but have to call you out on your flush toilet. One day in your future you will be dreaming with thirst of all the water you wasted flushing. You should have a compost toilet and the stove and burner??? Come on you need all that fuel burning the atmosphere? why? You have good intentions but have work to do. To learn. you will progress and find out how easy cooking without the gases is and using less energy, water is just logical.
It's not wasted. It goes into the ground and back into the water table. And...water itself is an ever-renewable resource. 90% of water we use goes to grow food. Flushing makes no difference. Perspective is important 😊

You’re living my dream life… I dream about living in a tiny house , van , travel to different countries and work remotely… I now have a tiny house (w/c I stay for the weekend) while I still live in my big house full time but I don’t have a campervan yet , that would be my next goal … it’s hard for me to travel a lot since my husband’s job is stationary .. you are very lucky to live your life in your own terms
