As a shadow fan my favorite versions of him are Archie comics version sonic 06 sa2 sonic heroes and sonic battle the problem is sega character assassinated him in so many ways post 2006 and he’s just now true to form in the new game and the movie. Imo even in his own game they messed him up in a lot of ways

This obviously is the canon ending, because the Hero ending has Sonic destroy the Eclipse Cannon, but come two games later in Shadow the Hedgehog, it works fine. That, and the True Ending for Sonic Adventure 2 takes off right after the ending with the Dark Story and Eggman having placed all Chaos Emeralds on the central control console in the Ark.
I used a Text reverser and reversed "sthgil der yb dednuorrus xob a" and got "A box surrounded by red lights" So I figured it out by using a Text Reverser.
I heard that the dark story is actually more challenging than the hero story in this game. That’s at least the opinion I heard from Cobanermani456 in his play through of this story.
