She is a bigger girl and every year she has asked me to maker her a rash guard with biker shorts to swim in because she is self conscious. But this year she wanted a cute suit. We couldn’t find anything she liked at the mall but she found some swim fabric in my stash she Loved! Watching this video, I think I can do this. ❤

hi ellie mac, i bought the candi pattern but confused with grading between sizes. if my upper bust is small, full bust is medium (with 2" difference), and waist& high hip large, do i use the small size as my base? If I use small as my base, do I do the FBA off the small size pattern or can i just use small size for neckline, armscye, and then can i use the medium size line for the bust on the pattern instead of doing an FBA on small size? Then I figure I grade from the medium bust line to large waist line on pattern.
We think you’ll need an FBA, but think you will come away with using size Small as base, grade to medium and use the line for the cupsize you measured. From my head this should be B or C and then indeed grade to L for waist. And of course don't forget the trunklength!

I noticed your long beautiful nails and wondered how you sew with them so long. I need mine shorter to be able to hold on to stuff, much less sew! Great job with swimsuit!!
Good job! Looks great on you. One suggestion, I think you mistakenly call the center back seam an in seam. An in seam is the inner seam of a pant leg or shorts. I love your videos!

Can you show how to do flat bum adjustment for this pattern piece? The example in the pdf has a different bottom cut out so not sure how to do
