**This video is not intended to convince others to follow a raw diet or that it is the best diet... no, we just show you what Loulou & Coco eat in a week. They have a varied diet and they eat differently every week. They are fed a carnivore's diet (90% meat, 10% vegetables). They get the vegetables as a snack in between. We have done research for a long time and know what we are doing. This diet is good for Loulou & Coco, they have been tested for this, blood values are perfect, they are fit, hardly to no hair loss, clear eyes and a beautiful shiny coat. However ... this is not to say that it is good for all dogs. Dogs are no longer wolves, but that doesn't mean we can turn them into humans. Because dogs have been domesticated for a long time, some dogs may not respond well to this. The diet should be very varied and they need everything from muscle meat, organs, bones, skin/hair etc. The reason why we provide this diet is because we want to give as little processed food as possible. So many steps have been made from meat to kibble and, especially to keep the kibble cheap, few nutrients are left. This is our reason for feeding a raw diet. **Please never give your dog a bone if they are not used to it. They are used to a certain way of eating and they have to learn to eat bones. Always start with soft bones. Coco still eats soft bones. When I trust her completely, she gets a harder bone. Raw bones are okay, slow-dried bones too (they become brittle), but boiled or fried bones can be dangerous. Due to the way of preparation, they become too hard or tough and can splinter (same with egg shells). Loulou & Coco have never choked, never suffered from gas formation and everything digests very quickly. Just how it should be. Their poop is very small and compact. I give them larger pieces because I want them to make an effort to chew even if they swallow the soft pieces quickly. When I always make everything small, they start to swallow everything faster and faster because that is even easier. They are not bothered by the larger pieces. I hope you liked it, it took a long time to make the video. You saw Loulou once & Coco once in a day, but they ate the same. I made another video but the other way around for Instagram (IGTV) I will post it tomorrow. If you like it, you can watch it then. I wish you a great weekend! xxx Eveline

Love watching your videos! We are still deciding between raw food and dried food. There is so much conflicting information out there it's difficult to navigate, but watching your videos have definitely inspired us to experiment with raw food! Thanks for your videos :)
Hi, yes It's very difficult. Many vets also say completely different things. Which I understand, because a raw diet is difficult and difficult to explain properly because it has to be so varied. By giving it incorrectly, dogs can develop deficiencies with all its consequences, but ... this can also be with dried food, only that is easier to give. If you give dried food, you can also give raw. Start by replacing a dried meal for raw twice a week. Very slow to see how it goes. In the beginning, change in poop is normal, it is always thinner and is due to getting used to a different way of digesting. Xx
The fibers are in the skin / hair / feathers, heads, legs of the diet. If they have trouble digesting, they eat vegetables as an extra. (carnivores eat 90% meat and 10% vegetables).
BEAUTIFUL Dachshunds!! Very interesting how varied their diet is. I look forward to every video you post. Love the peaceful and beautiful town you live in. You are a beautiful and loving family. Love from, California USA🌷❤️
Truly, if I die, I want to come back as a pet in your household. You are very kind, generous, giving and ....very pretty. Why, though, do you feed the little guys "raw" meet? Is that better for them?
How beautifully you take care of LouLou and Coco.I left it too late to offer my Dachsi raw food. I tried different types but he refuses it. Xxx from warm London
That has to be so expensive! My weenie babies were staring at my phone and turning their heads because they heard Lou Lou and Coco chomping on their food! 😂 so cute love you guys!
Haha aaaw. Actually it is not expensive. The full freezer cost 70 €. It's for 2 months. So 35 € for a month. Meat is expensive for humans, but this is 'waste' meat.
Thank you for this detailed eating history. Not an easy filming but gives a seamless huge amount of information. My dogs, long gone, ate differently but my cat now is on kibble and canned food with human meal twiggy bits as treats. Rarely. I appreciate how carefully you have researched this feeding regimen.
We just marvel at the good food we like the way they crunch the food .Coco and loulou are very lucky to have a home 🏡 like yours 🙂. With love to you and family 💚💚💚💚 💚💚💚💚
I think you're doing great 😊 i would also say that feeding an animal as natural as possible in generell is the best way. The food you get in stores or supermarket are not really healthy and contains lots of unusual things. For me i have 2 rabbits and i only feed them natural. I don't buy at pet shops. I give them hay, fresh greens from a nature reservoir next to my flat, salat, veggies, branches and chia and amarant seeds for omega 3. Their fur is so shiny. It doesn't cost much, and as far as i know my bunnies are very healthy. You inform very good. I think what you are doing is probably the best way, you brought it on point and the results speak for themselves. ☺ But i have a question. Did you feed Loulou this natural from the beginning? Or did she first eat the supermarket food? And do they get the fish/salmon with these little bones?
That was an excellent video on how Loulou and Coco are fed. You have invested a great deal of time and research on how to properly feed the "girls" to keep them healthy. Thank you for sharing. Pat USA
Thank you so much for the information. We have three dachshunds between the ages of 2 and 14. Nutrition is such an important factor in their overall health. We feed ours' a very balanced diet and they literally will eat anything without any digestion difficulty.
I’ve been following you on IG and UA-cam since you started giving Loulou’s puppies names. Thank you for sharing. The one thing I’ve always wanted to ask if where did you get Loulou’s heart ❤️ bowl.
I heard about someone in the netherlands organizing a dachshund weekend on Facebook. She had 50 spots, but never expected to get over 24000 replies!😂 Her friends called it as a joke project X for Dachshunds
Love that you share your family and country with all of us. We were fortunate enough to visit the Netherlands several times, the last time 3 years ago and spent one of our days at the Keukenhof Gardens....absolutely spectacular! Watch those thorns on the bougainvillea, my husband gets attacked every time he works on our bushes, they are very resilient, but then again we live in Florida.

So interesting to watch and thank you for putting so much time into your video. It’s obvious that you have put in a great deal of research about a raw diet for your dogs. They are very healthy and great fun! Although Coco wasn’t very keen on the little fish, she certainly enjoyed the salmon! Delicious x
Very much appreciate this video / you answered so much / I can appreciate how much time & effort went into, making this video no less the detailed explanation that was provided / you are tireless & your family (everyone - doggies incl) benefit immeasurably/ thank you & stay safe
Thanks Eveline, for taking the time and effort to make this great informative video...I have been wondering if they shed, and you answered that question, too....what sweet dogs they are...
@Vanilla Pudding Pop If the dogs hunted for their vittles, it would be raw game, not quinoa or avocados - although dogs can be omnivorous. But, meat is what they thrive on.
@MsPorcupinez I think you need to do some proper research. B12 comes from the earth. The reason it is in meat is because animals eat plants. It is also a myth that all vegans have to take numerous supplements. You also state that long term vegans have bone loss and their teeth fall out lol..what scientific study or research do you base your comment on? I'm vegan and also know people who have been life long vegans..none of which have had bone loss or any of their teeth falling out. I don't think you know what you're talking about.
@MsPorcupinez Most plants humans eat are not man made lol..they grow naturally. Being vegan is not an eating disorder, it's a choice. Nor is it a cult lol. Just because it didn't work for you, that doesn't mean it doesn't work for millions of other people. It's scientifically proven to reverse diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, certain types of cancers and has reversed heart disease...all proven. Just take dairy milk...not made for consumption by humans, has multiple times the amount of protein and fat required by a baby human, yet people force it onto their babies. Humans are lactose intolerant..fact. We may not all show symptoms, but again...it's a fact. Human beings are omnivores, not carnivores..that should tell you all you need to know about what humans should be eating.
We have altered their diets over the years, they may not be wolves anymore but they are definitely carnivores. Dogs have so many skin and stomach issues today because of that dry diet. Of course it is pushed on us to feed them that dry food, they would lose millions probably billions of dollars a year if we fed dogs and cats the way they were meant to be fed, your dog's are clearly fed the proper way and it shows, good for you!
Totally true. It is a pity that many veterinarians go along with this, I experienced it during my training and internship. EVERYTHING sponsored, the well-known kibble brands 😔.
Fun fact: dachshunds have one of the biggest mouth to size ratios, so the may have a bigger mouth than a larger dog packed in their tiny stretched bodies
I have a question: watching the video i've seen that Loulou eats very fast, it seems that sometimes she doesn't chew at all, is it ok for the digestion? I have to cut the food in little pieces for my dog because otherwise she doesn't digest well, but she is also 15 years old so :) By the way they are super cute ! 💕
Yes that's right, Loulou eats fast. For some dogs this may not be good, especially if dogs swallow a lot of air with their food. Loulou is not bothered by it and her digestion is very fast. I always check their poo. She has a stomach of stone haha. I trust her completely with food. Yes, when dogs are older, digestion also slows down and the stomach / intestines can be a bit more sensitive. Xx
Thank you so much Evelyne for sharing this was a great video! Their diet seems to work perfect for them they're so beautiful and they have the nicest teeth I've ever seen in a dog! Sending you & family big hugs from Canada! 🤗❤😘
This is how dogs and cats are supposed to eat, if they lived in the wild they would be eating raw meat, keeps them healthier and they live longer, less chance to have kidney problems, we found this out after my cat passed away and I looked into what to do better for my next animals, just my opinion tho!! Addicted to your videos thanks for sharing!!
its so interesting watching other dogs eat raw too! my lab is on a full raw diet because of allergies and his teeth and coat are amazing because of it! i see way too many people feeding their dogs a vegan diet because its trendy :(

Also, remember, dogs process food differently from humans, they process meat and fat almost entirely and on the other hand if you feed the kibble they will poop most of it
Loulou and Coco are living proof that a raw diet is the best for them, thanks for sharing what those lucky dogs eatxxoxxxoox
Aww bless them, it really shows how good this diet is for them, I can tell from their coat so shiny and their teeth, these dogs eat better food than most people😂 well done
2 precious fur babies! Thank you, fred and the girls for taking such wonderful care of LouLou and Coco! Gloria and Bear from Tx! 👩🦳🐕🐾🐾👌🌝💕💕
I hope that other people try this diet with their dogs because it's serious stuff to look after your dog ♥♥♥
Never, this is a fake fad diet that hipster owners like these swear by
@@justplainzero5286 ah, I see, you're a crazy one. Do research. But then again, research might be too hard for someone like you..
@@ryuuthefrog3775because dogs = wolves right? Theoretically we should be able to eat raw meat as well...but we dont...there is a reason for it, get all those nice parasites and bacteria in your dog...hmm! delicious! Go google some more champ
@@justplainzero5286 are you saying our immune system is the same as a dogs?
@@chocolatecake7027 no, why would they? Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years, they arent immune to bacteria that you find on meat. Stay down champ...
What beautiful dogs. They don’t fuss over meals. They are happy with everything they are given 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
They both look healthy and beautiful. Great dogs! You know what you’re doing. Cheers!
OMG, this video is heaven for those of us who love to watch ( and listen! ) to Coco & Loulou eating! Ten minutes never passed so quickly 😄 Pure relaxation, thank you for making this, Eveline!
How did I end watching this at 2 am but can’t stop watching 🤨
It's so nice to see other people giving their small Dogs a proper Diet. I have both my Shih'tzu&Pug on a Raw Diet and their thriving :3
Much appreciated!!! Our whole family watches your videos we love your beautiful family😃
I LOVE this video!!! I can watch Loulou and Coco eat all day! They sure eat better than me 😂
Love watching your videos!
Xx
@@Loulou_Friends Thinner because there's no fibre in raw food.
Many people serve the meat raw to their pet to mimic what they would be eating in the wild. :)
@@Loulou_Friends do you know how much that would be in US dollars? I'm dumb I don't know 😂
@@solobutterfly3923 €70 is roughly $83.
@@cadywilson5556 ok thank you 😊
They look so healthy.
Best dogs ever.
Thank you for taking such good care.
They truly are such beautiful dogs! ❤️
Thank you soo much for showing multiple days! I'm really struggling with this whole balance thing and this helped more than you know 😌💕
ha, it's weird seeing coco eating things at a normal-ish pace (the fish she doesn't adore, i mean)
their teeth are so clean! my doxxie always had dental issues, i wish i put him on raw when he was still around, our current dogs are raw-fed
Pat USA
The food vacuum cleaner and the hand held version strike again!!! Love from Australia 🇦🇺
This is the most satisfying video to watch! I feel full after watching this video!
I heard about someone in the netherlands organizing a dachshund weekend on Facebook. She had 50 spots, but never expected to get over 24000 replies!😂
Her friends called it as a joke project X for Dachshunds
Love that you share your family and country with all of us. We were fortunate enough to visit the Netherlands several times, the last time 3 years ago and spent one of our days at the Keukenhof Gardens....absolutely spectacular! Watch those thorns on the bougainvillea, my husband gets attacked every time he works on our bushes, they are very resilient, but then again we live in Florida.
Love love love this video. Need to put a monitor in the yard with this video playing 24/7 and give those three gossipy ducks something to really quack about. 😁
We love our 3 dachshunds and love watching your sweet ones also. Thank you for sharing such love for them
Yes! Best ASMR ever! :D
So interesting to watch and thank you for putting so much time into your video. It’s obvious that you have put in a great deal of research about a raw diet for your dogs. They are very healthy and great fun! Although Coco wasn’t very keen on the little fish, she certainly enjoyed the salmon! Delicious x
Still amazed that LouLou can pack in a quail that's almost her size!
All I can say is 'wow'. Between the swallowing of the rabbit ear whole and the crunching of the bones. Amazing video.
I wouldn't mind being a Dachschund, they eat more red meat on a daily basis than I do in a week
Yonex Duh, humans are not supposed to eat red meat on a daily basis.
Meat is too expensive for my family
Red meat is bad for human beings. Leads to bowel cancer
Man y'all too serious 😂. Too much of anything can be bad for you. Just say'in
Yonex of course. But you are craving for meat and ppl tell you it’s not healthy. That’s all. You can eat whatever though
I'm glad you posted this about the raw meat. I wondered why you fed them like this. Now I know.
Loulou and Coco, are just so cute.
I love that you take such great care of them😍
Eveline takes such good care of these dogs😊
Very much appreciate this video / you answered so much / I can appreciate how much time & effort went into, making this video no less the detailed explanation that was provided / you are tireless & your family (everyone - doggies incl) benefit immeasurably/ thank you & stay safe
I love that these babies are fed as well as humans, it makes sense
Thanks Eveline, for taking the time and effort to make this great informative video...I have been wondering if they shed, and you answered that question, too....what sweet dogs they are...
It's raining outside, but I need sunglasses to watch these shiny puppers eat!
You can tell a lot about a person from how they treat animals. Questions: How often do they eat? How do you determine portions?
it literally depends on your dog
The crunch they make when they're eating sounds delicious!!😁
PETA people are having a stroke. LOL
Ambrose Joseph 😂😂
@Vanilla Pudding Pop If the dogs hunted for their vittles, it would be raw game, not quinoa or avocados - although dogs can be omnivorous. But, meat is what they thrive on.
An animal rights group, that projects their own beliefs onto their pets natural diets, need to be fired out of a cannon.
Nice to know! 😁
their coats are incredible!!
I have a question: watching the video i've seen that Loulou eats very fast, it seems that sometimes she doesn't chew at all, is it ok for the digestion? I have to cut the food in little pieces for my dog because otherwise she doesn't digest well, but she is also 15 years old so :)
By the way they are super cute !
4:54 - can't believe my eyes! Such a small dog devoured such a large chunk of meat! And she's not fat after this all! 😲
Thank goodness dachshunds aren't the size of Irish Wolfhounds.
It’s amazing how quickly CoCo got to, and tackled the raw meat diet. It seems like she was just on puppy kibble, about 5 minutes ago!!!
Healthy eating for sure for these girls!
I don't know why, but it's just so satisfying to watch them chomp and eat! Appeals to my maternal instincts, I guess... 👵🏻💞
its so interesting watching other dogs eat raw too! my lab is on a full raw diet because of allergies and his teeth and coat are amazing because of it! i see way too many people feeding their dogs a vegan diet because its trendy :(
People are trying to make dogs vegan?!?!?😳🥴
Has your dog always been on a full raw diet or just after your discovered the allergies? Also what differences have you noticed other than the teeth and coat being amazing?
Love the sound of those bones being crushed, but the action looks so vicious!
Damn, when he went Cronch Crumch on that whole quail
For some reason it’s so satisfying to watch them eat raw mean :)
