72st Nagahama Plum Blossom Bonsai Exhibition being held at Keiunan until March 12, 2023
Plum blossoms heralding spring in Lake Biwa gather together.
I feel the mystery and gratitude of life in pale plums blooming on old trees.
This year marks the 72nd Bonbai Exhibition.
It is held at Keiunkan (3 minutes walk from JR Nagahama Station).
長浜盆梅展～滋賀県長浜市。豊臣秀吉ゆかりの城下町、長浜（ながはま）の冬の風物詩と言えば「盆梅展（ぼんばいてん）」。400年を超える古木に可憐に咲く梅花が湖北の春の訪れを感じさせます。bonbai.jp/　
Nagahama Bonbaiten - Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. Nagahama, a castle town associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, is famous for its Bonbaiten (plum blossom exhibition), a winter event where plum blossoms bloom on 400-year-old trees, reminding us of the arrival of spring in the northern part of Lake Biwa.
長浜で開催されている盆梅展に伺いました。
72回の歴史をもつ、由緒正しい展示会です。
300鉢を超える梅の展示は圧巻です。
