Glad I happened upon these videos. I'm planning on hearing Gold City Friday evening and would have wondered where Bruce is. The guy has left the group twice since the beginning of last year. About time for Danny to find a lead singer willing to stick around for the long haul.
@@Classic.Southern.Gospel fair enough. Whatever the reason for yet another departure by Bruce, it would be nice to see some consistency with a lineup that has had far too much turnover in recent years. How long will a new lead singer will last? Only time will tell
I did see in a video from 7/14 that Danny told the crowd that Bruce came off the road due to a family situation and Danny was still talking to him. One thing to keep in mind. Life, at times, is much bigger than singing. As much as we love groups, and the continuity, we don’t know what happens inside the personal lives of singers. I don’t know Bruce, but he seems very sincere. It could be right now that it was more important to be with his family than on the road.
Yes, Daniel announced they are looking to hire a new lead singer. What is this, 5 stints for Bruce with Gold City now? I know he's good friends with Daniel, but Daniel needs to move on. Don't ruin the best Gold City quartet since Jay, Jonathan, Mark, and Tim by letting Bruce go in and out depending on what he is or is not doing. Get a solid lead and usher in the 3rd great Gold City quartet of all time. Josh Feemster did an OUTSTANDING job filling in. It looked like he had a blast, too. I hope they hire him.
It’s a matter if Josh wants to be back on the road. I heard a video with Andrew Goldman with them in Jackson TN. He’d be a great fit as well, but, he’s been working with Signature Sound.
@@mccrayyork6147 Well, the hype was more over Chris Jenkins and Jeff Chapman. I think Josh did better than Bruce ever did, and Josh was just filling in. If Josh becomes the new lead singer, the hype may grow.
@@Classic.Southern.Gospel I really hope they at least offer him the job,I dont know if he wants to go full time again or stay with his part time group though.
@@mccrayyork6147 I saw him this weekend with Gold City and asked if he was going to be their new lead singer. He said that several things would have to fall in place for that to happen.
So glad God is building a church. Its going to be santified, glorified, filled with the holy ghost power and might. Praise you Jesus.
The best Gold City has sounded in a long long time. Nothing against any other members but these guys make this a powerhouse quartet!!
Agreed. I just hope they can stay together.
OH MY thank you so much for posting this.I Love Josh Feemster with my favorite quartet Gold City!
Yes, I hope he stays.

I don't think it's a lack of willingness.

Bruce stepped off the road and yes GC is looking for a lead singer.

Either Josh or Andrew would be great, and neither one of them is currently with a full time group that I know of.
Is Bruce gone again?
Yes, he be gone.
@@Classic.Southern.Gospel and just like that, one of the most hyped quartet lineups of all time is no more.
