I love when the water is so clear that the fish, and Greg, look like they are swimming in air. The clarity in the swim pond is spectacular.
This is the pond of my dreams! I’ve been saying for years that if I had the means I would want a big koi pond that I could swim in, but I’ve never seen one for real. I’m actually moved to tears by how beautiful this is (and how much I wish I could have one too!)
I don't get why most koi ponds are so damn small. If l had the money I'd build a big one in my courtyard and have a place where my cats can walk around in.

Second pond, absolutely fabulous! Really nice to have a client who let's you run with your concept and trust your vision to completion. Love the entire layout and the depth of the pond especially. Great workmanship.
That first house was cute, but the second one was great. They’ve got a magazine-ready setup, and their house looks really nice, too.

Very articulate about his design, loved to hear him talk about the filtration aspects of the swimming pond.
I have literally never seen a backyard I have liked more than the second one and I'm not joking when I say this but my eyes started watering when I saw it.😶😤😧

From 6.10 this pond in St Louis is one of the best ponds that I have ever seen. To be able to swim in it too takes it to another level. Pity, I would love to see more of the pond, and less people unless they are swimming in the pond. I love the fish in this pond.
I’d pay to stay at that last home! Really a yard to b very proud of. It’s all gorgeous... someone has a great eye for planning all of that out. WOW!

I am amazed at how Europe has been doing these "Natural Swimming Pools" For years. They even have huge public parks with them and here in the U.S. we are just learning about them. After years overseas I am always saddened by just how far behind we are here. Great work especially on the second pond! I am building a natural pond at my home too!
Actully im from Europe (France) and it rare to find those pool but i already see a sea water natual pool it was fun blbl
Unbelievable! That pond is truly a work of art. I’ll be a customer in the future once the finances are in place. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
The pond is a disaster. The algae only started growing when this video was shot. It likely got far worse, very quickly. Mosquitos likely infested the neighborhood because of the pond. The filtration system is most likely overwhelmed and can't be cleaned frequently enough. The owner probably spends hours every week working on keeping it clean, taking away all enjoyment they wanted from the pond. "Unbelievable" is right.

These guys too much talking and showing off there faces more than what people wonna see . That’s why when I watch American stuff I mute the volume and skip to what I Wonna see if the video is 15 min 14 min talking and showing there faces . American love to appear on videos 😂
gadvi fernando lol it’s kind of true. I watch Brazilian piscinais naturais and ive never seen anyone on camera, just the pools.
holy shit i just commented that...Greg should be embarrassed and take this video down..this is horrible. At one point the guy points the camera to the freaking trees (10:02)...what a terrible video im sorry im so annoyed..that ponnd looks great and would of loved to stare at it.
I like this guy's Job. He gets to swim in those beautiful swimming pool pond.
That's the great thing about Koi Carp, not only are they beautiful to look at, they are exceptionally clean animals, meaning that wth good filtration you can swim in it no issues. Beautiful.

Holy crap the idea for a "recreational pond" is blowing my mind right now. I always thought the traditional swimming pool in the backyard is ugly, but THAT is BEAUUUUTIFUL. I wonder how much that guy is making, when you said that is the ferrari of pools I believe you. Plus the house is HUGE and the backyard itself is even bigger past the pool with a whole ass barn plus greenhouse in the back.

Make sure you have the waterfall facing the sitting area and can see it from the windows in the house. This person has it facing the opposite way. You can't see the beauty of the waterfall from the sitting area. It is backwards. Expensive mistake.
To see the beauty you have to walk around it and there is no place to sit and enjoy it, unless you sit on the grass. It should have been facing the other way toward the sitting area, so you can see the waterfall. Think about that before you build yours.

YES! I installed a swim pond bit formal with retaining wall do water level is 2 feet above grade 7 feet deep. Family originally from the Baltics and this is the norm. Some beautiful swim ponds in Germany also. All bio. When I wanted to build it people thought was nuts. Don't be discouraged don't listen. Keep koi too Minnesota.

The 2 Ideas of this pond was used at O'Neals Property... 1) The Blue Stone Walkway 2) The Design Of A Firepit Made Of Cement Blocks.. Very Identical

I really love the 2nd pond!!!!!!! It's the coolest and most beautiful pool I ever seen. It would be really cool to add a nature looking hot tub that looks like a natural hot spring.
Maybe you can make a smaller isolated natural looking pool. And add tubing system to pipe in hot water. With natural stone as seats. Even install jets and stuff for massage.
Now that is what i'm talking about. My kid is in the little pond I built him all the time. Need one bigger for me to get in too.

if you're swimming with fish do you have to be careful of oils on you're body, or soap residues stuff like that?...does it stress the fish out to be jumping around, or on them....I've seen some of those hungry koi come out of the water when they are being fed....do they come after you when you're swimming with them..
It doesnt stress the fish out. Just like any other creature, they adapt. As far as soap residue, it shouldn't have side effects unless your just not getting the soap out your hair and getting in. My entire life of having one at my father's house we never had an issue.
My story is very similar. I've been wanting a pool that matched our lifestyle and other pool builders could not come up with the right plan for us. I'm so excited to be signed up with Earth Works in Jacksonville, FL. They are going to make my dream pool!
