The VA replacement is just a rumour- most likely it's due to the SAG-AFTRA strike cause of statements other VAs have put out around this time as well (take Alejandro Saab aka Jing Yuan). I think until the strike is resolved and/or Rocket Sound becomes union (Rocket Sound is the EN VA company and while they aren't struck, they're also non-union and Anairis Quinones- Feixiao's EN VA- is confirmed to be union so she has to follow the strike) we're going to be seeing a lack of EN trailer/promotional content. We'll still get story stuff due to those recordings taking place months in advance but any more recent stuff will probably be lacking, or at least more spread out. None of this has been confirmed but I think the general consensus is that until a statement is released by Hoyo, Rocket Sound, or Anairis herself, it's all rumours. The strike just makes more sense to me due to the timing of things

@@georgieegames Personally I think the strikes make the most sense just given the timing- we will probably know for sure when Feixiao releases if her EN voice has changed or not, but based off everything I've seen with other EN VAs I really do think it's the strikes. Hopefully they resolve soon and are in favour of the VAs for protection against AI

If you're referring to the Feixiao edit drama, only a few intense CN players were freaking out- most CN players honestly don't care about EN VA drama or care about edits, it was really just the few terminally online who were harassing her as it usually is on the internet. MiHoyo does not involve themselves in overseas matters regarding VA drama unless it's something absolutely vile (ie; Elliot Gindi). I honestly think it would be foolish for Rocket Sound to have fired her for liking an edit- if that's all it took for grounds of firing, we'd have no EN VAs at all lol. Unless you're talking of a recent and new statement that was put out specifically addressing the situation from MiHoyo, Rocket Sound, or Anairis herself? (Genuinely asking here cause I like to think I'm up to date with the current issues regarding EN VAs so if I missed anything please let me know!). Until an official statement is released addressing the situation, everything is just rumours and speculation but based on again the timing and current state of union VAs, I really think it's the strike. As for why she deleted her socials, that's her business you know? Sometimes social media is a lot, and sadly Anairis has taken the brunt of a lot of hate and dissatisfaction from her voicelines being absent (which could again be a direct result of the strike), so it's no wonder she'd wanna avoid being online until things are resolved. I honestly don't blame her (EDIT: her socials appear to be back up now which is a good sign)

I would like to get her but i need to get Robin first because she's amazing and Feixiao without Robin is a bit Rough.
