The resignation scene is my favorite and really cemented Khushi as my favorite character. Her whole rant after Arnav asks her 'tum theek ho?' is just brilliant. Especially the line, 'hum aap ki wajah sey nahi, aap k bawajood theek hain!' Absolute chills! Another scene I though was extremely well written was when Khushi goes for shopping with Lavanya and Arnav arrogantly tells her to keep an expensive dress as a tip from him. And she says something like, 'sapno ki duniya mein rehna hi acha hai, asal zindagi mein tou sirf dil dootey hain'. And he overhears with tears in his eyes and leaves immediately. It's kind of like she's talking about her poverty but also the fact that she loves Arnav and he repeatedly hurts her.
Great analysis by you, love to listen to you .., you have captured the beautiful moments....really a brilliantly written show.. ...of all these, the guest house one , heartbreak of khusi during Diwali , Nainital trip, Arnab telling khusi about his mother's suicide are some of my favourites...
In every interview, Barun has always said that he chose this show because it was beautifully written (and this video proves it very well). The writing gave the depth to his character and this show as well! Barun's versatility is that even though he didn't spoke, he managed to convey his feeling and emotions through his face expressions and gesture to the viewers which makes this show a unique one. Even after a decade, it has tremendous audience worldwide.
The best written part was Arnav getting khushi withdrawal symptoms. He kept on thinking about her for 4 days and didn't know if she was in delhi anymore
Lovely analysis!! I love angsty scenes acted well ... I personally loved the scene where khushi is heartbroken after Arnav calls her the biggest mistake of his life ... she portrays a picture of helplessness and heart wrenching sadness with a broken heart all alone with no where to go .. no body to lean .... that scene broke me .. always does every single time I watch . She acted outstandingly!!!
I would like to say the confession of arnav, that he loves khushi, during their supposed to happen consummation (post janmashtami), the famous dialogue, 'that I love you dammit 'was beautiful.. It was like how both if them couldn't understand each other's point of view and we're going on arguing and justifying and suddenly, arnav just yells out the 3 words loudly, the way he was struggling to telling it and how it came out and how it stupefies khushi and the realisation and the impact of the words dawning on khushi, it was just awesome. Not at all the usual mushy, stereotypical I love you confession
This was a lovely podcast! ❤ For me, another scene which really stayed with me was when arnav and khushi say they hate each other. More so because, just a few days before the contract marriage, they were finally realising the love and were almost about to confess it. That scene near the pool, broke my heart.
Thank you so much. Indeed, it is one of the most brilliantly acted scenes in the show. Plot wise, it was heartbreaking and I was just so taken by how beautifully they acted. My heart ached in that scene.
Great initiative :) Super agree with all your picks. To add up, although Arnav is portrayed to be the one who don't believe in love, he was the first to start fall for her during calendar photoshoot and farm house episode. And khushi feelings towards him comes much later. That was interesting thing to me. Also I felt the relationship between Khushi and NK post A-K marriage is very beautiful. He was her confidant throughout.
Thank you so much for your comment! Yes as you rightly pointed out, it was rather beautiful to see how they realised and fell in love at different points. NK is one of my favorite characters!
I feel really good listening to you two, this kinda maintains my interest in the show. I came across these podcasts while surfing the Tumblr posts, glad I did😊 And yes, I loved the scene of arnav telling about ratna's suicide and the morning after that, it's pretty emotional and the morning brings smile through tears🥺😌
Awesome tracks but Arnav finding out about Khushi's engagement and the Farak track. It did show both had feelings for each other and were hurting especially Khushi. Though it ended quite abruptly when they unite to bring Payash together.
Yes the farak track was well executed. I think Arnav stopped playing mind games with Khushi when La was genuinely hurt by his behavior and he whispered his sorry to Khushi and La. And post getting to know from Payal about the truth of the marriage, Arnav kept it all in himself and didn't say anything more - Khushi's engagement still hurts him though.
There are more beautiful moment and especially one of my favorites... 1. When arnav wished her birthday may be at 11.55 pm 😂 But the best part is that he turned away and got emotional and almost cried 2. The 2nd fav is all the airport scenes but one of the heartbreaking was ...when Khushi hold his hand he (few mili second later) depart his hand from her. I cried aaaalot. 3. So why both of you forgot to mention "THE PROPOSAL" (after the kidnapping) Its very special for me because of 2 reason.. 1. First time ever in tv industry Arnav's proposed to her 2. Love doesn't happen without trust and arnuv trusted khushi without getting any any proofs or evidence So.. there are many many many emotional and romantic moment and small well written details according to my opinion ... Hope you'll add your next videos. It's a request ❤️❤️🌹🌹
I loved this series ipkknd1 unforgettable incomparable and forever fantastic love story where loving hurts Wonderful couple Arnav and Khushi together is magic Fantastic Sanaya Queen all she's talent and Barun King💃🚶👑💫💥🔥💞💞💞🌹👌👌👌from Portugal
Lemme share the story behind watching this series. Imma type of girl who doesn't watch any kinda long boring dramatic indian operas even one episode.... When in 6th standard, my mom used to watch this. That time, I'm afraid of anav and got back to my doraemom! It's been 4 years I'm continuosly binge watching an Indian soap opera??? But why? First time I watched this for an emotional brother and sister relationship... only used to watch bro-sis parts and my life's good! Okay i thought to go through arrogant arnav's love life. Oh..My god! The dori scene! How can a man who respect and loves his sister became this violent on another girl.... I never watch if i find anything illogical or that's go beyond morals but it's been 4 years still my thrist for this series didn't end! Firsty i love north indian shows.. imma normal southie! It influenced me to buy khushi type of clothes, chikankaari, i hated that kinda pattern most. This made me watch and addict to love stories even though it had some illogical scenes but my mind is not accepting that they're illogical... Pls save me from this serial!!! Pls tell me something rubbish so that i can get rid of this
Guess I am keeping a full on tab on this channel 😂 Reached here within 3 minutes of the upload. Will edit it soon :) Amazing podcast! I love that the top 10 tracks/written moments basically include most of the pre-marriage and a few scenes after the marriage :P The growth of characters and emotions through the sangeet upto A-P marriage was so beautiful. The anti-climatic forced marriage feels so hard after the misunderstanding. I always find myself choking as I know what is to come. There was a lot of scope for great scenes after that but they somehow messed up too often with poor execution. I love the glimpses maturity we saw between A-K. The understanding between them so grew so much- it was beautiful to see their journey as individuals and as a couple. It was always nice to see the calm, understanding Khushi when she was logical, and gave space rather than engaging in inappropriately inane behaviour . Those moments felt unlike her true self who is mature and has gone through a lot. What struck me most that a flurry of emotions underlay their bickering arguments- whether it was the apology or even other scenes. That distinguished them from today's stories where the leads often have superficial or baseless arguments. It's loud and annoying. IPK balanced drama and comedy very well on most occasions. The suicide revelation was so well done. One line and that was it. It showed the grief and sorrow so well and conveyed what it had to without loud pitched shouting and long dialogues. The show don't tell worked wonders here. Again I loved the bangle scene and how they portrayed the contrast with which Anjali and Arnav have coped with the trauma. It happens so often that women resort to expression and men to avoidance and coldness. K's resignation argument was spot on and my God! Sanaya's delivery was so clear. It was beautifully enacted. I love that A was totally dumbfounded and how she tore him apart with her fiery speech. He deserved it at that point. La's exit was another winner. It is rarely seen in ITv that a thrid woman isn't hated or vilified but shown to have such a graceful exit. La really saw a lot more before and chose to leave. That agency she had and her advice was so nice. I wish she came back and celebrated A and K's union. The honourable mentions were great too: IPK broke some troupes and they did it really well. They had other brilliant moments too! Maybe soon we will get a segment for top 10 silent/comic/dramatic moments etc. I wish you had elaborated more on the post-Diwalit oo. I have watched it so randomly that I cannot remember what the post Diwali scenes were. I am not the number one IPK fan for sure :P Had a great time listening to this! I am waiting for aunty and other guests to join in too. Drove away my blues with this fun podcast. Thank you
We couldn't be more glad! IPK was a rarity amongst it peers and one of the things that kept it unique is that it took quite some time for the main leads to get married - or even fall in love! Pick any show right now, the leads get married at the drop of a hat! Honestly the marriage came at an excellent time because it gave the writers/producers/show a fresh slate to begin a story because there was so much more to build upon. Unfortunately it took a more traditional TV route from what could've been the high point of the show. La's agency went from strength to strength. I like it that she chose to leave, shared her emotional thoughts and decided to not make it a mess. It was about her. It was beautiful. Ah, thank you for more top 10 ideas! Post Diwali basically it went from hurt, heartbreak to comedy (Arnav Khushi vow not to speak to another and then it becomes funny because their silence causes some hilarious situations, and that breaks when Arnav asks Khushi if dead people do exist as stars). Thank you once again!

I soo wished that Arnav or Anjali hands their mom's letter over to Kushi at some point in the show... I missed that moment
Lovely analysis!! I love angsty scenes acted well ... Yes that was a very pretty scene.
Yes true
Lavanya's exit was so emotional that I once thought that she should get married to Arnav only 😂😂😂
I cried a lot man
It was so emotional! I loved they separated as friends - I so badly wanted to see her fall in love and get her happily ever after *NKKKKK*

Oh yes! Same! Khushi in yellow saree right?
@@aaryabagde6210 Yes ! Right after their marriage.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I loved the track when Arnav made Khushi complete tasks in 24 hours! Mischievous Arnav was to die forn
I don't know it it's unpopular, but I LOVE it. It's just so funny after a long , not-funny period, and Arnav was finally being his awesome self.
It was absolutely hilarious, I just wish contextually it happened at a different point of time.

I just love love this series. Where can I watch it in South Africa
