I have never heard of the Clove Oil Technique. I am lucky and have not had to put down to many fish over the years. It is a very hard subject but very much needed. Thank you.

I would not be surprised at how many people who are not true hobbyist flush their fish down the toilet. Thanks for giving us a few more human ideas. Great video.

I have heard the Clove Oil Technique before, but never the Alka Seltzer. That seems so strage to me. I will take your word for it. You are always interesting that is for sure.

What a great video. I have never really thought about it. I was going to Google it once but the fish I was worried about died before I had to make that choice.

Very interesting information. I have to admit I did flush a fish once and felt terrible later. It was a Flowerhorn that was very sick. I had no idea that these other ways were even a thing. Thanks.

I’m using 2-phenoxyl-ethanol (5 ml in 1 liter of water) as overdose for small fish. It is used for koi to put them to sleep during treatment by a vet for instance. It doesn’t smell either.
