We went to Harbin ~10 years ago for 5 days. We had a great time ... it was so cold and snowy. This city should be on everyone's winter bucket list. A place that you'll never forget! My wife and I have spent over 5 years traveling in China since 2004. Almost anywhere is an adventure because China does it right ... guarentee to put a smile on your face! Greetings from Canada! How about visit a world heritage site - Mount Huangshan. I’ve been there over fifteen years ago. I remember staying at a lodge inn on the mountain and watch the sunrise above the clouds! Breathtaking for sure!
I agree. I’m a Chinese. For me, Mountain Huang and nearby ancient villages are the most beautiful tourist attractions in China. I highly recommend them!

China is not cheap anymore and they should not be with all the quality stuffs they offer. But tourist products in China are still very reasonably priced.

Actually the scale of the world of ice and snow has been reduced a lot this year because of coronavirus and potentially less tourists. If you came here last year it would be even more gorgeous. I think the people used to say Harbin people same as to say Hong Kong people. It is only some Hong Kong people call themselves Hongkonger but not for the other people. Personally I would say Harbinese is more appropriate. It is like Pekingese, Shanghaiese, Cantonese and Taiwanese.

I was there 4 or 5 years ago. I'd never seen a spectacular sight like this. Beautiful. Otherworldly. It's definitely worth the trip to Harbin, although it's really cold there.
i didn't realize how BIG was the ice and snow festival till you showed the drone shots !!!! that place is huge!!! however, it seemed that it wasn't that crowded. was it because it was not the weekend ?? or covid-19 has put the damp on people's enthusiasm to see this wonderful festival ??? if it wasn't such a cold city to visit, it would have been on my bucket list too !!! take care and stay safe. next place to visit?? i suggest guangzhou, your kids would love to visit the chimelong amusement parks. love from canada.

Actually, it looks even bigger than that if the drone were to view the snow world from higher up in the sky. It's a pity some of the amazing building sculptures from previous years are no longer there in the snow world. @@GarciaFamily4 I’m from Guangzhou but living in Canada. Guangdong province definitely has a lot of good places to visit. The food are delicious and the winter temperature is warmer compared to most areas, miss my hometown so much!! If your first stop is Guangzhou, you can also go to the nearby city of Foshan, to experience Lingnan culture and food (most of good cooks are from Shunde, Foshan). Shunde desserts like boiled milk with ginger & steamed milk with egg whites are really tasty! A must try!
We are jealous of your daughters, they can grow up in these amazing scenery! We are in the Southeast Coast of U.S., now preparing for total lockdown when the new President takes over. Have you thought of getting a driving license there in China, then maybe rent an RV to travel the whole country? It's a great way for family bonding, really exploring the culture, because in a few more years, your daughters will be grown and they will do their own things. There are a few channels where Chinese are discovering the joy of RVing traveling the whole country, but are totally in Chinese lol. For the next few weeks, you are going to run into Chinese lunar new year, probably stay around Chongqing to explore and find the "hidden germ" 🤗😍😘

From Chongqing to Harbin, it almost traverses the whole of China. The volg you have launched are so wonderful. Using drones to shoot the Harbin Ice and Snow World is the best I have ever seen. Because it is close to the Chinese New Year, there are many tourists and people everywhere, and it is cold in winter, it is recommended to go to places near Chongqing, such as Guilin. It’s close to Vietnam, it’s very warm, and there is no epidemic. It only takes four hours to take the high-speed rail. The scenery of Guilin and Yangshuo is also very famous in China.
small tips: there are different kinds of special phone cases on Taobao which can keep your phone warm hahaha(I was shocked when I first heard this because I am Southern Chinese )

You should definitely check out Lijiang ancient town in Yunan province! It's great for visit all year round. You can visit the Yulong snowy mountain, and Lugu Lake which is not far away from the ancient town. Be sure to stay in an airbnb like family hotel in Lijiang instead of chain hotels, a lot of them are really well decorated. :)
@@GarciaFamily4 Yunan's definitely a great tourist destination. If you're missing tropical weather, you can also visit Xishuangbanna in Yunan. They've got a lot of Southeastern Asia vibe to it, and it's really warm even in winter days.

Harbin is such a vibrant city with lots of tall, fare, fit, beautiful Chinese girls. You can see Russian people speaking fluent Mandarin if you drive more north. There are a couple ethnical groups that live in the area that look completely like Russian. Some villages have mixed ethnical groups and Han Chinese. Fascinating how they can coexist so peacefully.
Harbin is a city founded by Russians. It also received a large number of Jewish refugees during World War II. It is one of the few cities in China suitable for winter tourism.

Enjoy the view also should try some local food. When i was 15, my mother took me to the Harbin, When we first order food from a small restaurant, we all shocked by the scale of the dish; We had five people, only ordered three dishes, the severn said:” that probably good for your guys. Don’t order more than these. When the dishes came you know…it’s not usual size of dish.

It definitely has something to do with Covid 19. There were small outbreaks in Haerbin, I think now the Ice and Snow world has already been closed.

Amazing video , My phone was total dead when i last time been there last time because it's too cold for battery , but still a good memory.
Huawei cellphone battery is totally fine actually.
Yeah that was a problem, but we switched our phones to airplane mode and they lasted all day

Harbin is such a vibrant city with lots of tall, fare, fit, beautiful Chinese girls. You can see Russian people speaking fluent Mandarin if you drive more north. There are a couple ethnical groups that live in the area that look completely like Russian. Some villages have mixed ethnical groups and Han Chinese. Fascinating how they can coexist so peacefully.

Harbin is a city founded by Russians. It also received a large number of Jewish refugees during World War II. It is one of the few cities in China suitable for winter tourism.
So beautiful and amazing scenery! China is a peaceful and safe country. Chinese are kind and warm hearted. Glad to see your family enjoy China life

no we didn't see it, we only had 2.5 days there and it was a very busy schedule! we will have to go see it next year
Enjoy the view also should try some local food. When i was 15, my mother took me to the Harbin, When we first order food from a small restaurant, we all shocked by the scale of the dish; We had five people, only ordered three dishes, the severn said:” that probably good for your guys. Don’t order more than these. When the dishes came you know…it’s not usual size of dish.
